"Huh? Oh, yeah." She stood after taking the last sip of her coffee, heading out to the car and driving them back to the house where she got out and walked inside. Emery went and pulled some fresh and more comfy clothes of a t-shirt and shorts before plopping down onto the couch and avoiding Rocky as he tried to become a rocket.

Noah plopped down next to Em, curling up into her.

Emery smiled and pecked his cheek, fitting to him as she put on a action movie.

Noah watched mindlessly, curled up against her.

The protagonist, Cole, stood with a bomb in his hand on a rooftop, the timer reading 00:01:43. Lena ran after him, shouting that there was time. "No, there isn't." He said softly, turning and walking over before cupping her face lightly. Lena held his hand to her face as he pressed a kiss to her lips lightly before pulling away. "We both know I have to do this, for the country." He says sorrowly, Lena still saying nothing. "Tell them the truth, tell them everything." Cole ordered sternly, turning and leaping off the edge as he sacrificed himself so the bombs set up around the country disconnected, the plan failed. Months Later... Lena placed a framed photo of Cole on her bedside table, a medal of valor beside it. "You promised me you'd save the world one day, you didn't but, it was close enough for me." ---- Emery watched as the movie flicked to the end credits, in awe of the plot twist nobody saw coming.

Noah was in shock and crying a little.

"Holy shit....okay...then." She said quietly after a moment, staring at the floor for a moment before seeing the time was only 11, the sun peaking through the curtains as she curled more into Noah and scrolled through other movies slowly, still in shock.

Noah buried his face in her shoulder. He didn't want to ever lose her again, expecially not if one died and one stayed alive, like Cole and Lena. Sad movies always made him upset...

|
Emery combed her fingers through his hair as she clicked on another movie, this one with a more good ending.

Noah didn't watch it, he just stayed buried in her shoulder.
