Sage just offered her another smile. "You do. Just by being here," he promised.

"But I can't make you better." She said, another tear dripping onto the bed

Sage nodded. "But you do help," he noted quietly. "I'll get over this...soon"

Amira nodded, kissing his head and going to tend to a crying Liz

Sage smiled at her kiss and then curled into the covers again when she left, closing his eyes tiredly.

Amira tiredly put Liz down for bed the rest of the night, going back to Sage soon after

Sage was asleep again by the time she came back up, but he curled up against her subconsciously when she got into the bed.

Amira ran her fingers through his hair, humming softly to him a random tune

He had relaxed more as she hummed, though his sleep was still broken throughout the night, since his breathing only seemed to be getting worse through the night, especially laying down
