I dont see why not-)) Trixie rolled her eyes at him, gently returning the nudge with a slight smile. "True. I think I'm kind of done with living people for right now- it would be nice to not have to haunt someone for a bit." She shrugged, glancing around and walking into the second room She saw, pausing to make sure it was empty before she sat down on the bed and blew out a breath. "Being dead is exhasuting." She joked, glancing out the window.

no me nrithuer - Matt followed and sat himself down on the bed next to Trixie, leaning against the headboard. "Me too" he sighed, examining the wounds on his arm. "Incredibly. At this point living seems easier" he smiled, looking over at Trixie as he rested. "I still wanna at least know how I ended up here. What if it was something embarrassing like falling out a plane or something. Or choking on food?" he pondered, trying his best to relay those thoghts through his mind. No matter how hard he tried, he couldnt imagine living life at all, whether it was his or just in general.

"Exactly. You'd think being dead should be the easy part." Trixie grinned, moving to sit beside him on the bed rather than on the side. She absentmindedly reached over to trace the wounds on his arm as he spoke, smiling faintly at the question. "Then maybe it's best you don't remember. Especially if you were taken out of this life by a piece of broccoli- that would just be depressing." She teased, leaning back against the headboard in turn. She had already sort of given up on recovering her identity- she didn't expect to remember much about her life at this point.

"Well..yeah. But still, what if it was actually bad? Like an accident, car crash or something?" He said, thinking for a couple of seconds. He reached over and took Trixie's hand not with much thought, rubbing his finger over her palm gently. "But maybe it doesnt matter. If we can get these tasks done maybe we'll get peace before getting sent to this..dream lad thing. That might be something good at least" he said, giving a faint, half hearted smile as he spoke.

"Then it's also good that you don't remember it, right? Because that's... terrifying. I don't think I would want to remember it. Based on the way both of us look, I doubt we went in a way that we would want to remember." Trixie shrugged, tilting her head at him as he took her hand. She settled her head on his shoulder gently, watching his finger skate across her palm quietly. "Maybe. I'd like to think that it'll all be worth it- for whatever we get at the end. Peace, paradise, whatever." She said lightly.

"I guess" Matt shrugged, nodding inn acknowledgement to Trixie's next comment. "Exactly. The only thing to look forward too really" he sighed. He let silence pass for a couple minutes, turning to look at Trixie once again, this time with a softer look in his eyes. "You really do feel scarily familiar, I dunno how to explain it" he said. It felt like the first time he had properly looked at her without being distracted or whatnot by something else, and he felt the same fluttery feeling come back as he had before.

"We'll get through it. I know we can." Trixie said lightly, closing her eyes in the silence. When he spoke, she opened her eyes and looked back at him, offering a slight smile. "I promise you, I know how you feel. I just feel like I know... you." She said quietly, a slightly excited feeling working it's way through her nerves as he looked at her. "This might be random, but you're very attractive for a dead man." She smiled softly, the words sort of slipping out.

"I'm glad you at least see where i'm coming from. Shows i'm not crazy after all" he said, still gently rubbing his fingers over her head. It seemed that whenever they talked about that sort of thing he felt two feelings- a strong attraction, and a faint feeling of guilt. Her next words made him do a slight double take within hearing, and he offered a small smile to mask it. "And you're..very pretty for a dead woman" he said, his voice suddenly dropping to be a lot softer.

"Oh, you're crazy. Just not because of that." Trixie joked faintly, enjoying the feeling of his fingers on her palm for a few more moments before she lifted her hand and interlocked their fingers. She rolled onto her side to face him, staring at their hands for a few moments and raising her head when he spoke. "I try." She teased faintly, holding his gaze.

"Well thanks." Matt said, pretending to be utterly offended though it was very clear he wasnt. As she rolled over and interlocked their hands he kept her gaze, hardly hearing her next words as he looked at her. In that moment Matt had no idea what to do. Did he kiss her? Strike up another conversation? It had been a day or two, it didnt seem natural to feel so strongly towards someone after such little time.
