"I would never say that to her." He chuckled "I'd like to keep my head thank you." He nodded. Travis smirked playfully "Yeah sureee" he teased "I bet you never left the room." He teased "Alright that's something for the two of you to talk about when her father is NOT in the room..." Lance told them stopping the conversation right there he definitely didn't wanna hear about their intimate encounters.

Sage snorted lightly at Travis's comment and nodded. "You're smarter than you look," he teased his friend lightly. Then he rolled his eyes at his next comment. "Oh please, we don't need a room to have fun," he huffed lightly. Then he looked over at Lance and gave him a sheepish grin. "Sorry," he chuckled. He'd forgotten that Max's father probably didn't want to hear about that.

Travis raised a brow at that before rolling his eyes "From anyone but you I'd think you were lying..." he admitted. Lance chuckled "It's fine... just I don't want to know everything about your lives." He snickered.

Once the girls had finished chatting everyone gathered around to sing happy birthday for Charlie before everyone was given a cupcake to eat little Charlie laughing as she grabbed sections of cupcake and frosting in her fists... the majority of it winding up on her face and clothed while a small percentage ended up in her mouth just as Max was expecting... still she couldn't help but take pictures of the silly little girl as she shoveled however little cupcake she had in her fist into her mouth.

Sage chuckled lightly at Lance's comment before rolling his eyes at Travis's. He was about to say something more, but by then Max was dragging him over to the kitchen to sing to Max, so he let her drag him around willingly. It was an amusing sight....Charlie was pretty funny to watch, and while he adored the little girl, seeing Max so excited about it all was pretty nice too. Once everyone had eaten, he scooped charlie up happily. "Time to clean up," he chirped, going to wipe Charlie off as best he could before changing her outfit.

Charlie giggled as she continued to shove the remaining frosting on her hands into her mouth while everyone else cleaned the other kids up after they'd finished their cupcakes. When they returned Max helped her daughter open all her small presents which of course were mostly toys but Maxine loved the overalls Hailey had gotten for Charlie as well as the couple outfits Quinn grabbed for Charlie. Of course each kiddo got to give her a toy and the four of them were playing with them whilst Max opened the biggest one from her dad "Oh my God dad this is amazing!" She chirped looking over the rocking horse "Thank you!" She chirped happily. "Of course hun... it's more for Charlie when she's older but I figured you could paint it." He commented happily "Sage actually had a really neat idea..." he admitted glancing over at Sage with a smile "Oh yeah? What would that be?" Maxine asked curiously.

Sage worked on getting Charlie cleaned up while the others cleaned the kitchen. He brought her to open her presents once she'd been washed off and was in clean clothes. He was probably just as excited looking over presents as Charlie and Max were....he had to admit, this whole dad thing was actually really fun. The original sleepless nights were less fun, but they were most definitely worth it. He wasnt really listening to Max's conversation so when he heard his name he looked over and went "what," before his brain registered what they were saying and nodded. "I said you could put handprints on it," he chirped lightly. "A parent and a kid on each side or something like that," he hummed lightly.

"Aw... I love that!" She cooed happily "I will definitely do that for sure." She chirped nodding happily "We could actually do a few things kinda like that with our handprints..." She admitted smiling at the thought.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded happily. "That's fine with me," he chirped. He was about to say more, but Charlie had caught him unawares and yanked on his earring roughly, with a giggle. He let out a squeak and focused on trying to get his ear back from her chubby baby grip.

Maxine smiled nodding already having some ideas for things to do with their handprints before she went to help Sage free himself from Charlie's grasp.

After their little celebration Quinn had to go which left the others to chat and laugh together for a while "Hey do you two wanna go out some night? Maybe have a boys night out?" Lance suggested "As long as nobody gets arrested that's fine with me." Maxine assured happily Hailey nodding in agreement "We'll even go back to mine and Travis's place so you guys can have this place to yourselves." She winked.

He nodded happily in response to Lance's suggestion. "Sounds like fun," he chirped. Then he gave Max a fake pouty look. "Awe, but babe, running from the cops is all part of the fun," he joked lightly. Then he gave lace a grin. "Though, we have an old man with us, so maybe running isn't the best idea," he teased Lance lightly.
