Trixie observed their surroundings, with a slightly tilted head, confused at the dreariness. "I can definitely agree with you there." She muttered, nodding at them and glancing at the fearful expressions all around. "I mean, why not? Let's go... I dunno, this way." She said lightly, grabbing his hand and pulling him down a side street gently.

Matt nodded, following Trixie closely as they made their way down the street. He was carefully observing the people that walked past them, peering over at texts or listening in to conversations. "Literally no one here is interesting in the slightest. Maye an actual house would provide something interesting?" he asked with a sigh, nodding his head towards a housing estate that could only be described as incredibly dystopian. He looked at the first house on the row, and made his way in. Almost as soon as they entered through the wall they were met with a rather large looking family, and Matt smiled. "Can only hope this is more interesting."

"They all look... plain." Trixie muttered, nodding at his answer. "Sure. Let's try it." She shrugged, following him up to the house and blinking at the sheer amount of people. She offered him a slight smile at his words. "Let's hope, then."

Matt nodded and smiled, sitting down on the sofa and staring over at everyone sat at what he assumed was a dinner table. Gently, he fiddled with the cushions, attempting not to move them so much it was noticed. "We should at least let them know we're here" he said, with a clear playfulness balancing on his tone as he spoke. "Any ideas?" he followed up, gesturing towards the large family.

Trixie followed him and settled beside him, glancing at the gathering with a smile. She noted his fiddling, stretching out and nodding teasingly at his tone. "Oh, of course." She chuckled, biting her lip in thought as she looked at them. "To take off that guy's toupee." She snickered, gesturing to a man in his forties with a rather badly placed toupee on his head. "I dunno. Is that too mean?"

Matt raised his eyebrows at Trixie's suggestion, casting a glance at the man in question's head. "Harsh. Very harsh" He smiled, though it was clear he found the idea funny. "Alright but if if children really can see ghosts and I get caught im blaming you" he added, making his way over to table. He stood behind the middle aged man, and slowly and carefully he prised the toupee off his head, watching as the talking at the table slowly stopped. To make it look as if he wasnt holding it he let it slide off onto the floor, standing back with a smile. "Need a drink?" he asked, gently pushing it towards the edge of the table, much to the horror of the family.

"If I see a toupee, I'm going to suggest that someone remove it. It's a natural instinct." Trixie joked, grinning at him. "Alright, I'll agree to that. Somehow I don't think the children will scare you more than you scare them, though." She teased, watching him stand with a perpetual smile. As the talking stopped, she couldn't help but start giggling. She covered her mouth- as if that would help her stop, and kept laughing. She exchanged a glance with Matt grinning like a fool.

Matt stopped the drink right on the edge, hovering his hand over it to make sure it didnt fall before stepping away and back to Trixie. He looked her in the eye, feeling a slightly fluttering feeling at the sight of her laughing. He kept his gaze on her for a second before turning to look at the family, who were back to talking as if nothing happened. The middle aged man however, had dissapeared, probably to re adjust his 'hair.' "Wanna head upstairs?" he asked, pausing with a frown. "to explore" he added, shaking his head a little.

"I seriously hope that's a story they retell." Trixie grinned, offering him a smile when he kept his gaze on her. She raised her eyebrows at his question, standing and moving to place herself at his side. She scoffed at his last comment, catching his eye. "Oh, that's a shame. You had me really excited for a second there." She teased, starting up the stairs lightly.

ive not got a clue whether ghosts can catch feelings nor if they can participate in..activities0 - "Me too" Matt mused, making his way up the stairs slowly. He turned to look at Trixie as they neared the top, a teasing smile on his face. "Oh did I? My bad" he said playfully, giving a slight nudge as he stood on the landing. "Pick a room for us to inhabit for the day, empty or not. Beats floating around getting nowhere" he said, looking around at the mutliple doors in front of them From observing the open ones there were four bedrooms, some random playroom and a bathroom. The rest of the doors were closed. There was also an attic, though it wasnt as if they could get to it, they couldnt exactly float upwards.
