Sage shrugged, walking into the castle behind Luther and closing the doors behind him. "I have some stuff written down, a basic sketch I did this morning kind of thing." He scrunched his nose up. "But all the men are different. A training schedule that would work for one isn't going to necessarily be good for someone else." He shrugged. He wasn't even sure how much the queen knew about it...it wasn't her job. He doubted she could tell if it was good or not. But he had a feeling that others would be reading it too, so she couldn't do much if it was good. If she wanted to laugh, it meant she was too petty to accept help, not that he himself was at fault. He knew he wasn't supposed to be here, and he'd leave soon, once Anya had gotten what she wanted. And he hadn't bothered the queen at all...so she could take her fancy ball gown and shove up a certain spot that he wasn't going to say out loud. Cursing like that in the castle would only tell people the opposite of what he wanted. He flopped down in the lounge and tossed the papers on the table and the pencil at Luther.

Luther gave a slow nod as he perched on a comfy chair in front of a warmish fire, gathering the pens and paper up and looking them over. His eyes squinted slightly as he tried to look them over. His eyesight wasn't the best in such a short range, but Sage's messy handwriting and dodgy spelling weren't exactly making it any easier on him. In all honesty, from the way he was sitting and from the face he was making, he looked a little bit like an insanely old man, perhaps a grandpa reading a book to a young child. "What the hell does this say? Man, I was hoping I'd be able to understand this at the very least." He complained before tossing it aside. "Let's just start again. What were you wanting to start off with? You could put different men in groups depending on ability and go from there. I could help you out with that." He shrugged slightly, picking up a pen and fiddling it in his fingers. "If the queen is desperate enough, she'll hand it over to the instructor to have a look at. If it's any good, she'll leave you alone. She's not the type to lash out without a reason." He shrugged slightly.

Sage snorted. "maybe to other people around the castle," he grumbled, though Luther did know the queen better. And shed benn...not nice per say....but not a jerk either....during Christmas. Maybe she could figure out how to be a decent person. When she respected him, he'd respect her...that was how he worked. The respect had to go with ways, or he didn't trust the other person. Especially not some petty queen too uptight to realize when she needed help. He was well aware of his status...every moment in the castle reminded him he was of no more purpose to anyone here than the carpet on the floor. Except for Luther and Anya, of course. He paced back in front of the fire, knowing how he wanted to group the men, but not knowing their names. "I hope you know names because all I can do is describe them."

Luther nodded and flashed a smile. If he was being honest, he wasn't completely sure of all the names... this wasn't his troop, after all. He could name a few, but Anya would probably be a hell of a lot more help. He remembered her memorizing them all when she was young, which was when Luther had started remembering them. But it'd been years since then... the troops would have changed a hell of a lot. "I could probably name a few if you describe them. If not, we can make up a plan for each group, and then you can run off and find some names out." He shrugged before scribbling some sort of note down on the paper, getting ready for lists.

Sage grunted and nodded thoughtfully. "We'll figure something out. I heard the guy yelling at half of them so between us we should be able to figure something out." He grinned. "I know who I want where I just don't know half of their names," he chuckled. Then he made a face. 'now we actually have to work," he sighed. He didn't really want to sit around and do nothing, but he did want to shove a good schedule up the queens nostrils. It took a bit, but eventually the two of them had made a flawless (at least what they though was flawless) plan with the guards split into three groups. "I'm gonna just go with this because if I sit still any longer I think my brain is going to explode," he muttered, standing up.

Luther chuckled slightly before nodding in agreement. They had been sitting around for a while, letting Sage spill out all of his ideas while Luther jotted them down. Luther neatened it up a little before handing it to Sage. "Right," he huffed, patting Sage's back, a bit rougher than he had intended but in a friendly way nonetheless. They should probably get this off to the queen... if Anya had been talking none stop like he had been suspected, then she was probably running out of things to say. She also probably needed saving from a more awkward silence between her and her mother, so Luther kind of rallied Sage down the halls and towards one of the slightly bigger lounges, where he assumed the Queen would be. He paused outside the door for a moment before pointing at it. "Go in there and be polite. But don't be a push about. Confide-" He cut off slightly, guessing Sage already knew that.

Sage gave Luther a look and put his hands in the air in mock surrender. "I know, I know. I'm not exactly trying to get myself whipped again," he chuckled, rolling his eyes in a still friendly manner. Then he grinned. "If the queen is a jerk again I'll just stop talking and stare at her until she shuts up or something." He grabbed the stack of papers and gave the boy next to him a cocky smile. "Relax, I'll figure out how to not piss people off at some point, and i suppose theres no time like the present." He waved slightly as he pushed the doors open and dropped the pile of papers in the queens lap. "Your tactic for getting rid of me was only effective for the night," he chirped as he popped down in a comfy chair next to Anyas chair.

Luther gave a short nod and watched him wander in before sliding down the wall, waiting for wither glass shattering against the wall or some form of yelling... but then again, Anya was in there. Her mother was sure to be at the very least civil while she was there unless of course she was asked to leave by either Sage or her mother, which seemed pretty likely... well, that or she had chosen to leave to avoid any awkwardness, but he wasn't overly sure that would be the case. Anya felt a glare fall on her face when Sage walked in - mainly because she had been talking for so damn long, and she was kinda But if you asked, she probably wouldn't be able to tell you what she was on about. She just knew her mother liked the sound of her voice, so she hoped that would help Sage's case a little. She knew she looked a little grumpy, but her mother seemed happy, well, until she heard Sage's voice. "Let's get this over with then." She grumbled. She was kind of hoping this little scheduling thing would have taken longer... maybe until this whole rebellion thing started up a bit more, so it was too late for her to actually do anything about it.

Sage shrugged at the queens response and popped a nut into his mouth from the jar sitting on the table. "You have the papers," he muttered, trying to speak in a somewhat polite tone of voice. He didn't exactly expect the queen to want to talk or even look at them....she'd most likely just skim through them, say there were issues that weren't there, and shoo him away again. Whatever ...she'd be impressed on the inside. It was her fault if all her men died. And her daughter. Unless they didn't kill Anya and just used her for whatever they wanted. That was the more likely option, actually. They'd use the queen too, and the maids. They'd kill everyone else.

Anya let her glare get slightly sharper at Sage when he made his slightly condesending comment. She rolled her eyes and kind of punched him in the stomach under a table, mothing the words 'be nice' with an almost wrinkled nose. With any luck, the queen would have taken no notice of it. She watched expectantly for a moment, deciding that she probably shouldn't go. It would make her mother a little nicer if she stayed around, even if it was in a fake way. The queen glanced over the papers for a little moment, noting that it was Luther's writing before giving a slight nod at his ideas. They were good, really. And the idea of training guards from the level they're at rather than all together seemed a little more... progressive. She looked to Anya and then back to Sage after a little while, a stoic look on her face. "Tell you what." She grunted as she leaned forwards. "I'll pass this along to the commander. See what he says. I reckon he'll like some of this." She shrugged after a little while. She had mainly said that to get rid of him, trying not to verbally admit it was all pretty good. Though, it wouldn't make her like him anymore... if anything she was a little annoyed that some if it was good.
