"I know, but Smoke misses you, and she needs a companion, since you're not here to work with her." Lilith explained. "Plus, they were on the way to slaughter."

Dylan pursed his lips and nodded thoughtfully, "Thats true," he hummed. He smiled, changing the subject, they'd go for a ride tomorrow, they'd talk about that later. "I've missed you," he murmured, kissing her nose.

"Missed you too." She grinned.

Dylan smiled, leaning down and kissing her.

She kissed back, before parting it. "Go see your parents." She stated. "Please?"

Dylan nodded, setting her down and going over to the kitchen. His parents greeted him with hugs and kisses and Dylan smiled, doing the same.

Lilith let the dogs back inside, and went back to the kitchen to help.

Dylan spoke with his parents before heading over to the table when dinner was ready.

Lilith brought out a fresh, hot chocolate pie, amongst a cherry, apple, peach, and pumpkin pie.

Dylan grinned. Thanksgiving had always been his favorite holiday. They all dug in, eating the food and chatting with one another, Dylan holding Liliths hand gently underneath the table.
