"Damnit," He muttered, sitting down. "Sit down, it'll take a while." Caden then proceeded to explain it was a plan made a long time ago, one made to keep an opposing buisness afloat, before he went and found it while working there, using it to create his company. The opposing had never forgave him, always finding ways to sabatoge meetings and such---using process of elimination. First the co-ceo, executives, mangers, workers, and the other day when Caden about got shot? All them. The contract she'd signed meant she would give information and help on his death.

"You're fucking kidding, right? And there's no information to give! If I had known that, I wouldn't have signed it!" She said, panicking and almost starting to cry

"It's fine, you didn't know, I assure you it'll be fine." He noted.

|
"No, you should be pissed at me and throw me away and let me go die or something because that is not okay, Caden!"

Caden watched her outburst, trying to think of what to respond with.

|
"I'm a fucking horrible person..." She said, head in her hands

"You didn't know," He said quietly.

Caden was quiet, still trying to think of something.

She sighed, hating herself, before silently walking upstairs
