Kai shook his head. "I'm not hungry," |

Camery nodded gently to him. She pecked his head before wandering off to find something to Kai to eat... some of his own clothes and things, too. She knew he wasn't hungry, but she wanted him to try something. She got back to the ward quickly, and offered him a smile as she wandered back over to him. She sort of straddled his lap in a playful manner. "I brought you snacks and clothes. You know, for when you can actually wear them," she hummed lightly. |

Camery gave him a look after a moment, and climbed off him. She didn't know what to do to make him feel better, and she really just felt so awful. She offered a small smile after a second. "Once you get your bandages off you can put them on... don't want anything sticking to your wounds. That'll hurt," she noted quietly. She then cocked her head. "You want me to grab your brother... or your mom, maybe?" She whispered gently. |

She furrowed her brows, and went to plop down next to him, on the chair by his bedside. "What's wrong. Can I help?" She asked quietly. She already felt bad enough... him being quiet just worried herself more. |

Kai just shook his head. "I'm fine," he lied. |

Camery gave him a look, really worried about him. He could talk to her. She could help him. "This doesn't work between us unless you tell me what youre thinking. I can't read your mind, Kai," she murmured quietly. |

Kai sighed and gently took her hand, leading it up to the corner of his wing where his stitches were the greatest and where those nerves used to be. |

Camery watched him curiously as he took her hand, admittedly a little bit confused as to what he was wanting, or what he was saying. She just rested her fingers in the little corner, her brows pinched together. She just cocked her head. "...what...?" She asked quietly. She knew he liked it when she touched that spot, but he was so dosed up on pain killers that she was sure he couldn't feel it. |
