Elijah kisses her while she's asleep, "I love you"

Dakota smiled in her sleep, no dream currently envading her peace

Elijah traces her features with a finger

Dakota's eyes slowly fluttered open, her sleep evident in her eyes. "Morning, handsome" She muttered softly

Elijah smiles, "Morning love" he kisses her eyelid

Dakota smiled at him as Ethan began crying. She sighed and got up, got dressed, and walked briskly to grab her son. "Hey bud" She cooed

Elijah follows her in. "What would you like for breakfast love?" he asks. "I'll cook today" he adds

Dakota smiled at him, thankful. "Anything. I'm not picky, but you know that" She joked, sitting on the couch and placing Ethan on her lap as he giggled

Elijah nods, "Waffles then?" he suggested, getting the waffle mix out

Dakota brightened. "Sure, thanks" She chirped
