"Dissolving into nothing sounds pretty painful. At least if you were stuck here for eternity, you'd have me- and I'm pretty entertaining if I do say so myself." Trixie joked, shrugging. "Hey, we can dream, right?" She shrugged, offering him a smile. "Then we'll just have to appear and make stupid faces, I guess." She chuckled, tilting her head at his next question and turning to walk backwards. "Hmmm. Hard choice. If I stay here, at least I've got you and we can keep each other company for eternity. But dissolving into nothing seems like it would provide... relief. I mean, it's not like you'll exist to be in pain, or bored, you just kind of stop existing. Hard choice." She shrugged, following him into the room and then frowning. She settled next to him. "You're right. But we don't have a choice, do we? It's also not like we're- we're hurting them or anything. Just scaring them." She nodded faintly, looking at the game quietly. "I'm gonna do something." She muttered, standing and walking to the edge of the table. She looked at the pieces on the board game, gently reaching forward and taking one- it lifted. She raised it and settled it in another, completely different spot. Needless to say, there was screaming.

"I was gonna agree, but are you entertaining or are you just the only other person that can see me" Matt joked, giving a slight playful nudge. "I agree. Guess we just have to wait and see" He said with a slight shrug, examining the room. His gaze followed rixie as she stood up, and a smile very slowly grew as she moved a piece of the board game, followed by the screaming. He opened his mouth to say something when a meter popped up above her head, filling ever so slightly. And some writing. "Hang on, hold still" he said quietly, edging closer to read it. It read simply- 'congratulations, you've successfully haunted someone. complete the list of tasks each day, once the meter is full, you'll be transferred' Matt read it out slowly, then sitting back on the bed. "Well its easier than we though" he smiled, watchin the two calm down again.

Trixie chuckled, rolling her eyes at him and and swatting at his arm playfully. "I mean, there's no other way to find out, I guess." She shrugged. Following the screaming, she let out a small sigh, going still when he spoke again. She glanced up and just barely read the words above her before they faded off. "I guess so- but what are the tasks? Just- spooking people? Is the meter seperate for each of us?" She wondered aloud, settling close at his side and glancing around.

Matt shifted aside to let Trixie sit down, yet again shrugging. "We'll have to wait and see. I wonder if the tasks came up earlier when i knocked the vase down-unless it doesnt count if its accidental" he mused, watching the woman comfort the child. "What if the tasks get more, you know..bad? Hurting people?" He asked, a slightly worried look spreading across his face. "I doubt i'd be able to just start throwing someone across the room because a couple things above my head said so" he sighed, leaning back against the pillow. His gaze followed the woman as she sat down- pretty much right next to him, and he tensed up. She reached across him to grab what looked like a remote, and he sat there his body stiff. The woman looked confused, and he lstened as she spoke. "Bit chilly" she muttered seemingly under her breath. Matt turned to look at Trixie, an uncomfortable feeling on his face. "So people can feel our presence, at least. Bit too close for comfort though really" he spoke, quietly as if she could hear them. "What if i just swiped the pillow out from under her head as she slept. Or, pulled the duvet down" he said with an amused tone, casting a glance p at the now turned on tv.

i was thinking, with the meter thing that the tasks could get gradually worse and more extreme over time? I feel like it would make sense, and have a bit more to write without repeating ourselves :)

"Maybe- but I have a feeling they have to be done with intent, otherwise they won't count." Trixie huffed, watching the pair in front of her with a slight frown. She winced at his question and stared up at the ceiling instead. "Well, I guess we have to make a choice. Hurting people to go to paradise, or fading off the face of the Earth. Hopefully it won't come to that, though." Sbe muttered, folding her hands in her lap. "No, I don't think I could either. Not unless I found someone who deserved it." She sighed, glancing over at the woman. She giggled under her breath as Matt got reached across, tilting her head and smiling down at him. "I'm pretty sure she's supposed to be afraid of you, not the other way around." She teased, glancing over at the tv and laying down next to him. "Probably contribute to the meter. And it might be... a little funny." She smiled, turning her head to look at him. The somewhat close position along with the eye contact that came with it hit her with another wave of familiarity. She stared at him for a few moments and then looked at the ceiling, blowing out a breath.

also i was thinking, would you ever want to start a different rp along with this one? i'm doing my best to keep myself busy and you're quite a good person to rp with- no problem if not, one can be quite a lot :))

"True. Like you said hopefully it wont get to that point. Just carry on repeating the same "oh no this vase has fallen" activity until the meter's full" Matt sighed, though in the back of his mind he knew there was no chance of that. He nodded in acknowledgement, giving her a look with narrowed eyes, shaking his head. "Well, she is terrifying." he joked, shifting to the side, closer to Trixie instead of the woman. His hand brushed her leg as he did so, and he shot an apologetic look in her direction before continuing to speak. "I'll keep that in mind then. We should explore what there is of the room. Move a couple things around maybe?" he asked playfully, standing up, his gaze locked onto Trixie's. As he took a step towards the bathroom he tilted his head, looking back at her. "You okay?" he asked, referring to the confused look she had portrayed.

"Right." Trixie nodded, seriously doubting it at that point. "Oh, obviously. I don't blame you at all." She teased, watching him shift closer to her with a smile. She looked down at his hand when it grazed her leg, staying relaxed. She glanced back up at him and offered him a joking smile. "Don't worry, I don't mind since you're fleeing from that terrifying being." She teased, nodding at the playful suggestion. She blinked at his question, shaking her head and standing so she could follow him. "I'm alright." She couldn't very well tell him that he looked painfully familiar, could she?

"You sound like you may be judging me" Matt smiled, casting a quick glance towards the child who was busy drawing something, then gave a nod. "If you're sure." He said, his head tilted a little. He made his way over past the table with the child, purely just looking around the room. There really wasnt much to it- a bed, table and chair, wardrobe, tv and bathroom. Basic neccessities really, and judging by the lack of lugage they had only just gotten there. Matt sighed, tugging at the curtain in boredom, much to the surprise of the child. He did the same again, pulling a loose string, watching as the child got up and virtually ran to where thw woman was, leaving the drawing. "How about we make this a little more fun. Dare each other to do something?"

"Me? Judge you? Absolutely never." Trixie mocked, a false offended tone in her voice as she laid a hand on her chest. She watched him adventure around the room, looking around herself. She looked back at him in time to see him tugging at the curtains, giving a faint smile as the child ran off. "A game? Fun. Alright, I dare you to..." She thought for a moment, standing in the corner of the room. "Open that suitcase and throw the first thing you see in it on the table. She nodded.

Matt pretened to be utterly offended by her words, standing against the curtain, cautious of the window behind him. "Oh you're making it obvios we're here very quickly" he smiled, though he complied pretty quickly. As quietly as he possibly could he prised open the zip on the bigger suitcase, looking at the clothes and various neccessities. He swiped the first thing he could- a stray sock. "I doubt this will really create an effect, but..i'll try" he smiled, standing back to be able to thrw the sock. It landed on the table right on the edge, causing a pen to roll off. Matt watched as the woman sat up, though she didnt think much of it. "Now, for you" he smiled, turning to look at Trixie. "Draw something. Anything, just so it noticeable" He said, a playful tone in his voice.
