Amira just stayed there, humming softly to him and running her fingers through his hair

Sage obviously wasn't aware of anything she was doing, since he was out cold, but he appreciated her support all the same. His breathing had become labored after a while, even in sleep.

Amira's face turned to one with concern as she slowly heard his breathing change. She sighed softly and placed his head in her lap with a pillow, trying her best

Sage slept the rest of the night, though it was a fitful one. He woke up in the morning after a while, blinking up at her with a tired smile.

Sage sort of hummed groggily and shrugged. "About the same," he mused. "Less tired maybe," he added.

Amira nodded and hummed a bit

Sage just curled in, not wanting to do anything. But he was glad she was there with him... It did make him feel a bit better

Amira wondered what else she could do to help, maybe painkillers? "Have you taken anything yet?" She asked, her thumb rubbing his cheek

Sage hummed softly and shook his head. "Last night, but it's probably worn off my now," he sighed, glancing at the clock.
