Trixie seemed pleased now- there was a plan. She knew... sort of what she had to do. Overall, it seemed like it was going to be easy. "And I'm struggling to work out if I'm dreaming or not, so I figure I may as well be happy till I find out. Take from that what you will." She smiled, walking in line with him and looking up at the hotel in interest. "Looks like a hotel that would be haunted, if you ask me." She muttered, glancing around. The atmosphere was distinctly unpleasant, what with the few people who were around moving quickly with their heads bowed. This would be... interesting. She turned her gaze to him at his next words, reaching up to feel her cheek hesitantly. "I guess not." She offered him a slight smile, glancing through a window over his shoulder at the hotel. "I'm following your lead. Let's do it." She nodded, gesturing for him to lead the way.

Matt gave a slight nod of acknowledgement followed by a smile at Trixie's comments, focusing on making their way in. Not that it was ricky, walls clearly weren't solid to them. The only part of earlier he could remember seemed to be they had a deadline. A deadline and a sort of, 'meter' to focus on before they got wiped away to whatever 'dreamworld' the guy was talking about- but really, they didnt have long. As Matt wandered around the hotel, he looked around, frowning at the sights. It seemed to be quite new, very modern and did not at all fit into the drab town they had been placed in. "We should probably find somewhere to settle. Work out what we're..doing" He sighed, gesturing towards the rather large set of stairs set right in the middle of the hotel. "The higher the floor the more haunted places are meant to be right?" He asked, looking at Trixie with a gentle smile. As he started off in the direction he gestured, he brushed against a small red vase, and to his surprise it fell right onto the floor, catching the attention of everyone downstairs. It seemed to be only walls they could pass through, actual objects were just as in the way as they would be if they were alive. Looking around at all the shocked faces, the frowns towards the girl stood next to the vase and the sudden blame, Matt smiled. "This is quite fun" he mused, looking at Trixie.

Trixie followed him, glancing around in interest. It was surprisingly nice compared to both how it looked on the outside and also the rest of the town. She gave a light nod at him and did her best to avoid walking through anyone alive- or anything, for that matter. "I suppose so." She smiled, following him toward the stairs. She flinched herself at the shattering of the vase, looking at it in alarm. She shrugged at the comment, glancing up at the stairs and starting up them. "Hopefully it will be." She muttered.

Matt nodded, then proceeded to finally make his way up to the top floor. It took a while, but eventually they had gotten there. They'd ended up on the top floor, with what looked like only a few inhabitants in a couple rooms. Matt, albeit carefully, sat down, gesturing for Trixie to follow. For a brief second he had a mind to pull her in for a hug, as if they were together, though after he'd stopped himself he had no clue why. He hadnt had that urge before. "So" he started, rubbing his leg down. "Do you have any idea..what happened? You know, how you ended up here. Anything from when you were alive?" He asked. Uusally, Matt wouldnt be so forward with questions especially as sensitive as that, but what exactly did he have to lose.

Trixie kept up with him, looking done with stairs after about the third flight. Once he sat down without sliding through the floor, she flopped on her back next to him, giving a slight huff. She looked up at him, curling her legs up and sitting up. She caught the faint look of hesitance on his face, but she couldn't tell quite what it was over. She tilted her head at the questions, unbothered by them. "I don't think so. I know my name is Trixie. And... well..." She paused, tilting her head back and blowing out a breath as she closed her eyes. She made a slight face of concentration- but nothing came to her from before the white lights burning into her eyes. "Nope. My name is Trixie, and I'm dead. That's it. You?" She asked lightly, opening her eyes and looking at him again.

Matt listened to Trixie talk, whilst examining the room they had settled in. It was a regular, uninhabited hotel room, and that was really all there was to it. "Pretty much same. Minus the same name of course." He said with a slight smile, making quick eye contact with her as he spoke. "I feel like not being able to remember how we died is a good thing you know? I cant imagine running through how we lost our lives would make us too happy." he said, his words coming out in full thought. He stood himself up to look out the window though kept well away from the edge. He had no idea if he could actually float through the air and wasnt about to try. His gaze scanned the life, or lack of, below, looking at the drab and dreary goings on outside "I still would have liked to remember my past life at least. Who knows, we could have known each other" he said with a smile, turning back to look at Trixie.

Trixie didn't observe the room much, she was either looking at him or the wounds on her body. She glanced up and offered him a slightly amused smile when he spoke, meeting his eyes for a brief moment. She kept watching him as he spoke again, tilting her head slightly in thought. "Probably. It was obviously pretty painful for both of us, I don't even want to know what I had to do to get torn up like this." She huffed, watching him stand. She waited a few moments, debating whether to follow or not. She hesitantly stood and walked to his side, looking up rather than down. It was a somewhat clear night, and the town was small so there was a relatively small amount of light pollution. There were a few stars out, a full moon.

"Good thing neither of us remember then isnt it." Matt smiled, staring down at the floor, and at someone speed walking from what looked like a pub to the housing estate. "I've not got a clue what happened here but everything looks..worn out. We're meant to drive people away though it might aswell already be abandoned." he sighed, stepping back from the window. He pushed off the urge to lean against the wall knowing he woud just end up falling, crossing his arms slightly in thought. "I figure we'll get very bored very quickly if we dont start..doing something. Do you have any suggestions?" He asked, looking at a mirror stood up against the corner of the room. To his slight surprise, he was staring right back..at the wall behind him. It felt unnerving that he couldnt see himself, in fact he felt sick. Obviouly Matt knew he was dead, but that still tugged at his nerves nevertheless.

"It is, I guess." Trixie chuckled, continuing to stare at the sky before she eventually forced her gaze down to the empty town below. "I'd like to remember what my life was like too, but that also might make thinking about it unfortunate. I'd also like to think I knew you- a little familiarity in an unfamiliar situation, y'know? Then again, what are the chances?" She chuckled. "There's definitely a story behind it. But doesn't that also mean our job is a little easier?" She suggested tentatively, looking out the window for a few more moments before she turned to face him. She blew out a slight breath at the question. "We can go find some people and yell Boo. Is that too stereotypical for a ghost?" She asked jokingly, tilting her head when he looked at the mirror and stared at it. She moved over to him slowly, blinking at the nothingness that stared back at her out of the mirror. "That's-" She shook her head, to make sure no unnescessary emotion infiltrated her tone. "Well, I said I didn't want to know what I looked like, right? Let's- let's go." She nodded, gently grabbing his hand and tugging him toward the door.

"Mm. I'd sure hope whatever he have to do is easy, i cannot imagine being stuck here for eternity would be too fun. Or dissolving into nothing if thats what happens when we pass the deadline." He sighed, raking a hand gently through his hair. He nodded in acknowledgement to her second comment, following it with a simple smile. "Chances are probably quite low. I'm only assuming but I wouldnt even be from the same country as you" he shrugged Matt let out a slight laugh as he listened to her speak, following suit. "I'm not too sure they can hear us, if we're invisible that is." He smiled. As they wandered down the corridor looking for things hanging on the door to show someone was in, he pondered his choices. "Would you rather stay here forever or just be dissolved into nothing?" he asked, stopping outside a door with someone clearly there. He gestured for Trixie to follow, entering. There were too people in there- a tall, middle aged woman and a small child who couldnt be more than 10 years old. He watched them, sitting down on the bed. "This feels like a crime." he muttered, watching the two sat at the table, clearly playing some sort of game.
