Max had improved quite a bit on her fighting... and she felt better practicing now that Roxie ensured that the life inside her was protected from harm. Now the three of them were in the back yard Charlie happily playing with some blocks whilst Max sparred with her husband throwing a left handed punch to throw him off before aiming and firing a right hook into his gut "Hah!" She laughed "Finally got ya!" She chirped happily.

Sage enjoyed sparring with Max...it was certainly fun, and it was good to know she could hold her own in a fight. And good to know she could protect Charlie, too, of course....he wanted them both safe. He snorted out a laugh when she finally got a punch in, and pressed a half surprised hand to the spot she'd hit him. It hadn't really hurt, it had just come as a bit of a surprise. "I told you you could do it," he chirped, reaching forward to plant a kiss on the girls lips before going to sit down on the porch step with a groan. "Ugh, maybe I am turning human....I feel old," he groaned/joked with a chuckle.

Maxine giggled "I'm just glad I didn't have to use my abilities to do so... I can't rely on them all the time." She said breathlessly as she sank to her knees beside him leaning over and kissing him happily "Thank you." She cooed happily before she followed him sitting beside him "Oh please..." She giggled "You're not old... well... you are in years I guess but not physically... nevermind the fact that most demons don't have a family to look after so they don't use as much energy... you have a wife and a daughter and will soon have another son or daughter to look after..." She pointed out "Not to mention you haven't had to do much fighting recently..." She admitted.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded happily, face showing the obvious pride he held for his family. Then he chuckled and shook his head, flopping backwards on the step and shrugging. "Maybe," he hummed. He hoped he wasn't losing his fighting skill....he had a feeling he'd need it soon. But he gave Max a smile and chuckled. "I can't wait for the other one," he hummed. "Waiting for Charlie was long enough, and she came way early. And I was dead the first three months," he huffed, though his eyes were still sparkling happily.

Maxine giggled lightly and kissed his cheek "Me either... I'm glad you're gonna be with me this time..." she replied nuzzling up on his chest. She felt entirely different this time, she had more energy... in fact she seemed to have a hard time staying still then again as a whole she herself was different this time she was part demon now. "How about we be done for now?" she offered, she didn't seem tired but she knew her husband was "We can take showers and then I dunno..." she shrugged. "Might just wanna stick with the shower..." Roxie said as she leaned against the house "We've gotta get going... Hades will be here in a few hours." she told them.

Sage chuckled lightly and wrapped his arms around Max with a soft sigh. "I'm just glad I don't have to watch it all go wrong again," he noted with amusement. Then he nodded in response to Max and smiled, though he half jumped when Roxie appeared. He wrinkled his nose but nodded with a groan. "I hate Hades and I haven't even met him," he huffed.

"I know I know." Roxie replied with a roll of her eyes "Go on get moving and try to look at least somewhat presentable..." she huffed. Maxine rolled her eyes "Yes mother..." she retorted shooting Roxie a small glare before they went inside to get ready. Once they were ready Roxie looked them over nodding in approval though with a snap of her fingers she changed Max's hair instead of the usual ponytail she instead put two braids in the sides and wrapped them around the ponytail putting some silver hoops amidst the braids "Much better..." she nodded as Max grabbed Charlie and the 4 of them went to the underworld with a snap of Roxies fingers when they arrived Roxie looked at them "Are you sure you don't want to age Charlie? just a little?" she asked "Yes we're sure." Max said firmly. Roxie nodded "Alright..." she said before she told them to line up with the other demons as she snapped her fingers and changed into a rather gorgeous maroon dress her white hair in a crown braid with some obsidian hoops amidst the braids. "Stand straight..." she hissed at the demons. The one beside Sage smirked "Late because you were changing a diaper were ya?" he asked his maroon eyes sparkling mischeviously.

Sage sighed and followed Max into the bathroom, before washing quickly and drying off and getting dressed. He wasn't a fan of dressing up, but this wasn't a time to mess around or make a mistake. He knew that. He rolled his eyes when she changed into an extravagant dress, though he expected no less....she did like those. And Max did look really good. Sage gave the demon next to him and side eye and small smirk. "Late because I have a girl to have in the shower with me," he said in a tone that he knew this other demon wanted a girl but couldn't seem to keep one. "Glad I'm not in a bed alone like you," he hummed with a light shrug. "Must be so lonely," he added, acting sorry, which he knew would infuriate the other demon.

Max was in a simple outfit a blue tank top with a jean jacket and a pair of black jeans with some biker boots and Charlie on her hip. She heard the other demons comments but she decided to ignore them... she didn't need to prove anything in the here and now... Charlie and Hades were her main concerns... there was a time for a display of power but this was not it... though she hoped if they had to spar that demon would be the one she'd spar with, she did shoot him a glare though. The demon only chuckled at Sage's words "Better no girl then a half demon bitch..." he retorted "Speaking of bitches... aren't you hers?" he teased with a chuckle before he spoke again "Must be hard to keep her in your bed with that half demon brat of yours..."

Sage threw the other demon a rather annoyed glance, and shrugged. "You do you. Maybe that attitude is why you still dont have any bitches," he told him carelessly. "And Charlie sleeps through the night. So we can do all we want to," he noted, a smirk still lightly on his face. "And so what if I am? Means I get something good out of it, and it's definitely not a lonely night like you've got." Maybe he was being a bit petty. Though, he was itching to fight someone now....well, he was before, but now he really wanted to bash some heads in.
