Trixie slumped slightly in her seat, staring blankly ahead with a puzzled expression. She didn't... feel dead. Nobody around her looked dead. It could always be a dream. Yeah, sure. Just a wacky dream that would end in a while, if she went on with it. She looked up at the 'ghost', or whatever he was, as he continued to speak. She sat through most of it with an utterly disbelieving stare that said "Yeah, right." But she sat bolt upright as the ghost went to leave. It was good to cover her ass on the very slim chance this... wasn't a dream, right? "Wait, wait, what if we don't want 'prove' ourselves by scaring the shit out of people-?" She asked, alarmed. At that point, the ghost was gone. She blinked a few times and then looked at Matt. "...this is a dream, right?" She asked skeptically.

Matt looked up from his feet, staring in the direction of just past Trixie's shoulder, his eyes slightly zoned out. He waited for his blurred vision to come back before answering, starting of with a very brief shake of the head. "It doesnt seem like it. I'd say pinch yourself but it doesnt really seem as if it would hurt so that wont work." He spoke, giving a half hearted, light smile. As much as he wanted to get up, move on and hopefully wake up to reality, that didnt seem like it was happening anytime soon. "If this is a prank I can safely say its not funny." He sighed. Matt had barely any time to then move onto comforting Trixie as he had wanted to, because large, very bright neon blue arrows lit up in front of them. Just him and Trixie, not the other guy. His went a different way. Matt followed with his gaze towards where they ended, staring in utter disbelief. "I'm sure thats a..town. Like the guy said." he mumbled, shaking a little. It suddenly seemed actually real. Standing up, Matt turned to her, rubbing his arm down quickly. "Should we go? See what its all about at least" He asked, his voice quiet and slightly shaky with fear.

Trixie blew a light breath out at his response and sank a little lower in her seat, clasping her hands on her stomach and staring at them for a moment. "Good point. Somehow if these don't hurt, I don't think a pinch will." She joked meekly, tilting her head and offering him a weak smile as she gestured to her arm. "Agreed. Very strongly agreed." She huffed, rubbing her eyes faintly. When she opened them, the neon blue arrows were there and she let out a soft groan of dislike, an expression of distaste settled on her features. She seemed less nervous than him, and more.. bothered. She watched him stand and then hesitantly mirrored him. "Right. A town." She said softly, settling at his side. "I mean, do we have any other choice?" She joked weakly, glancing at him and noting the overall fearful position. She offered her hand to him slowly, palm up. "...I know I could use a hand to hold for this." She offered softly, hoping he wouldn't just shove her hand away.

Carefully, Matt slipped his hand into Trixie's as she reached out, shaking his head at her comment meekly. "Definitely not Something about the seriousness in the guys voice tells me we can't just sit here for all eternity." He sighed, starting off towards the town, following the arrows which really werent very hard to miss. The closer they got, the stranger he felt. Like he was entering a completely different dimension, breaking some sort of invisibl wall. It made him feel slightly sick, but that was at least easy to push down. "You know I didn't think ghosts were real, just some sort of brain washing phenomenoms people had made up, but that would apparently mean we weren't real either.2 He spoke, and it was clear he was just projecting his thoughts onto Trixie out loud. "How does one haunt something too? Waft up behind a four year old and yell 'boo' or something?" He asked. Matt figured the more he spoke, the less nervous he would feel, though it was proving difficult. His next sentence was cut off by a suddenly loud, bustling atmosphere, and it was like they were back in the real world, though absolutel no one was paying attention to them. As a man with a briefcase rushed past, he walked right through Trixie, causing Matt to feel both impressed and violently sick. That only proved the whole thing was very real.

"I don't think so either. Then again, that also doesn't sound very fun." Trixie huffed, giving his hand a friendly squeeze as they started out. "We're off to see the wizard, I guess." She said sarcastically, staring forward until he spoke. She tilted her head at him and gave a light nod. "I didn't either. It's much easier to... not think about the idea that ghosts exist. Less scary." After she chuckled and shook her head. "I mean, I don't know about you, but I feel pretty real if I do say so myself." She joked, lightened by the conversation. She tilted her head at the thought of scaring someone- She wasn't inherently a scary person. Or intimidating. She was almost the opposite, so that seemed like as much of a challenge for her as it would be for him. "I'm assuming kids aren't the main target. I dunno, knock things over? If we can do that, anyway. Scream? I'm sure we'll figure it out someh-" She was cut off by the sudden change in atmosphere. Before she got the chance to look around, she had to worry about the man walking at her, full speed. She took a half step backward before he walked through her, falling on her ass afterward with the most terrified look she could have. "I- I- what?" She started, glancing behind her in confusion. "...that's violating, isn't it?" She huffed, a still discontent look on her face.

"It's certaintly..interesting." Matt sighed, quickly helping Trixie up before continuing to look around. He dipped into an alley around the corner, gesturing for her to follow. "I feel its probably better to stand here for a second, to avoid that happening again" he said, wiping the very slight smile off his face. The sick swirly feeling in his stomach continued as he observed life passing, as if nothing had happened. As if they hadnt just basically spawned into a town and not been seen by a single person. Matt tore his gaze away, attempting to lean on a wall very much to no avil, almost falling through. "So what, we're meant to stand for eternity now" he mubled, furrowing his brow. "How do we drive people away if they cant see us. Suddently just blurt out..appear?" He asked, his tone flatline. He was just about to continue speaking when a child who had been passing the alley stopped and stared pointing exactly in Matt's direction. He frowned, making eye contact for a brief second. The memory of the words fro the floating guys explanaton crossed his mind briefly, and he pretty much blurted out a "vanish" whih seemed to make him dissapear again- and make the child cry. He smiled and turned to Trixie. "Like that I guess. Should we..explore?" He asked, mking proper eye cntact with her for about the first time. His gaze lingered on her, and he had to work to tear it away. That same strange feeling of knowing her came washing back over him, and he could only do his best to force the thoughts out.

"That's one word for it." Trixie muttered, taking his hand with a nod of appreciation and standing up. She blinked as he started off, following since she had no better ideas and she most certainly wasn't going to lose her only friend the moment she stepped into town. She glanced at faces as she past- not one paid her the slightest attention. It was a little dehumanizing- then again, if she was dead, did she even count as human? She swiped the thought to the sides they settled in the alley, giving a small sigh and somewhat nervously fiddling with her fingers. She did giggle slightly at his ordeal with the wall, but it was soft and the slightest bit nervous. "We could always sit, maybe lay down. Hopefully, at least." She shrugged, watching him as he continued. While his appearance didn't change for her- She glanced to where his eyes seemed to be glued and the child pointing at him. She looked between them in startled silence, until he gave another command and made the child cry. Her mouth dropped open slightly. "That's it? Two words?" She asked, shocked. She was scared to try it herself- and decided to wait a bit. She grinned at him when he brought his gaze to meet hers. She pushed her words out through the blanket of familiarity that came with his stare. "Exploring sounds... fun." She nodded, pulling her eyes away from him before his gaze found another target. "Where to first, do you think?" She asked lightly, taking a few steps forward and twirling slightly as she did so. This might not be so difficult after all.

"As long as we sit on the ground, I fear we'd go straight through the chair otherwise" Matt sighed, acting exasperated at the thought already. "I guess so. Though you start to feel breathless after appearing for a while so I assume you have a limited amount of time to just..stand in front of a human." He shrugged, recalling the shortness of breath he felt for just a couple seconds that he had appeared. "Well it's dark out so we coud go anywhere. We should probably find a building as a 'house' to stay. Someone's home maybe? Someone alive?" he asked with a smile, looking in the direction far off of the housing estates. "Or what looks like a hotel?" He asked, looking in the opposite direction. "You pick." He ended, starting off down the alley. As they pretty much wafted through the air like some sort of scent, he stared down at his arms again. "I wonder what we would look like to humans. Because of the injuries I mean, it must be pretty scary." he mused.

Trixie chuckled at him. "Sounds like an adventure." She teased, listening to him happily. "I suppose being solid does take something from you." She joked, noting the information. She chuckled at him and shook her head, walking onto the street happily. She looked around, trying to familiarize herself with the town as she listened to him. "Ooo, I bet they'd be so jealous. Everyone knows the cool kids are dead." She said sarcastically, smiling at him. "Oooh, let's go to the hotel. Lots of people to haunt, right?" She grinned, making her way in the direction he pointed, humming faintly. "Probably. I don't even wanna know what I look like." She scoffed.

"I'm struggling to work out if you're taking the piss here or not" Matt asked, an amused smile diplaying on his lips. It was only small, there really wasn't much to be too happy about at this moment in time. Soon, maybe. He nodded at her suggestion, setting off in the diretion of the large red brick building, that simply had a glowing sign saying hotel, with no actual name. The town seemed gloomy at night, much different from the day. There was no one walking around, at least hardly and if they were, they looked terrified and in a rush. It was eeriy silent. As they neared the hotel, Matt turned his head to look at Trixie, frowning a little. "I can assure you, you look fine" he said softly, planting more of a polite smile on his face. "One large wound on your cheek cant be too dehumanizing right? If thats even possible" he added, stopping at what looked like the very back of the hotel. Matt peered in, looking at the inside life. There seemed to be a lot of people, and it was only lucky they could float throuh walls. "If we hover by some people, maybe we can pick up information, make it easier?" He asked, nodding in the general direction of everyone else.
