Nathan Croft - Nate lifted her chin so she was looking at him. He cupped her face and wiped her tears away with his thumb. "What could you possibly be sorry for, darling? This isn't your fault,"
Dakota pulled her face out of his hands, just curling up and placing her head under his chin
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate hugged her, rubbing her back in silence for a while. "Do you want to go see a doctor? Figure out what we can do?"
Dakota shook her head, lost in thought and failure
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate nodded. "Okay..." he agreed. "Do you just wanna stay here for a bit?"
Dakota shook her head, standing and walking to the bed. She sat down, her thoughts speeding and unable to focus on anything but one thought. Failure. He had said it wasn't her fault, but she still felt like she had failed him and that he should be more upset with her. "I'm sorry" She muttered again, head in her hands
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate got up with her, following her to the bedroom. He watched as she sat down before walking over to her. Nate got down on his knees and gently took her hands. "Its not you're fault..." he murmured, looking up at her with an honest, loving gaze. "We'll try again, its okay..."
"But what if I fail again?" She muttered, meeting his gaze
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate shook his head. "You didn't fail. If either of us failed, it was me,"
Dakota shook her head, searching his eyes for any anger or upset directed at her and found nothing
