Amira watched him warily, kissing his temple and rubbing his back comfortingly

Sage just offered her a thankful grin, sipping on the water gratefully. "I think I'm going to go take a warm shower and head to bed early," he noted tiredly.

Amira nodded. "'Kay. Love you." She said softly, kissing him and going to feed Liz

Sage nodded and moved to grab some clean pajamas and slip into the bathroom. He was in there for a while...until the water turned cold. It helped his lungs open up a bit, but he was still coughing a lot

AMira went and took care of Liz before settling her down for bed. She walked into the bedroom, careful to not make too much noise, and changed for bed

Once the water has started to turn cold, he had moved to get into warm pajamas and crawl into bed, shivering now that he had a fever, despite being curled under all the blankets

AMira felt his shiver, grabbing an extra blanket and laying it on top of him. She ran her fingers through his hair lovingly, thinking

Sage didn't move when she came over to put the extra blanket on him, though after a moment he did curl into her warmth, since he was cold

Amira hummed a soft tune and held him closer

Sage stayed asleep for a few hours, until he started coughing again. That woke him, and he had to sit up to get his lungs to even begin to function. Even so, he now had a definite wheeze to his breath.
