Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comments, grinning over at the girl happily. "You look rested," he agreed before chuckling again as he handed their daughter over. The little one latched on happily right away, which was certainly a good sign. He was glad both of them seemed to be perfectly healthy....it made their job a heck of a lot easier as parents. "Technically she hasn't," he mused lightly, moving to crawl back on the bed and sit next to Quinn and frynn. "You'll get your turn soon, buddy," he told Caspian, who'd let out a sort of jealous whine by then.

Quinn smiled, glad she got that hour of rest- otherwise she'd look like Darth Sidious. Frynn seemed to enjoy food, her bright golden amber eyes staring off into space. Quinn was immensely glad everything had gone okay- All three of them could've died. Yet, the only thing that seemed to be sort of off was how small Frynn was- but with some feeding, that'd get better. Quinn wasn't the tallest either, and Sage wasn't huge. They were both rather average in height. "I know that, it's this new fangled thing called a joke." She rolled her eyes at his comment, a teasing expression on her face before she focused back on the baby. Soon Frynn was more than full and already falling asleep, her eyes drifting shut, so Quinn handed that baby over and took Caspian, who let out a happy squeak, as if saying, *Finally! I thought you had forgotten about me!*. Of course, he ate just as hungrily, causing a quiet chuckle to come from Quinn. Once both babies were full, Caspian all but went limp in her arms, totally asleep. "Gosh, I wish I could fall asleep that fast." She snorted quietly, smiling, her emerald eyes flitting up towards Sage.

Sage was more than happy to try and entertain Caspian while Frynn suckled, then took the sleepy girl before handing his son off to Quinn. He chuckled at the impatient noises that came from the boy, flashign Quinn a grin in response to her comments. "I'm just glad we found a spot to settle down at," he admitted, smiling down at Frynn when she curled up agaisnt his chest, little fists grabbing his shirt tightly as she fell asleep again. "It makes life a lot easier," he admitted with a sort of laugh, Though, at her next comment, he hummed as if in thought beofre shrugging. "I dunno, you passed out pretty quickly earlier," he teased her, looking over at the kids lovingly, eyes glowing. It seemed like forever since they'd found out dhe was pregnant...and he was just so glad to finally meet them.

Quinn nodded at his words, cradling Caspian in her arms while leaning back slightly against the wall. "Me too. Otherwise this would've been a heck of a lot harder." She commented, gazing down at the small boy with a smile. "It wasn't THAT quick." She protested with a chuckle, closing her eyes for a moment. It was quite nice, to finally not have to worry about wild animals and the king and her mother and everything. They were safe here, cradled in this little valley. "We should take a walk with them." Quinn announced, having decided she needed fresh air. She climbed out of the bed while holding Caspian, then headed towards the door, glancing back at Sage as she waited for him.

Sage hummed as if in thought before shrugging in response to her comment. "Eh, it sort of was," he chuckled, still teasing her and admittedly sort of enjoying it. Then he grunted when Quinn got up and he followed her out the door, propping frynn up on his hip and following Quinn out the door. "Where to," he asked. "Not too far, you just gave birth to two children...I don't want you to overexert yourself," he reminded her.

Quinn roleld her eyes slightly at his warning, casting a playful glare at him. "I'll be fine. Let's go to the lake." She said cheerfully, heading towards the path that would lead to a small lake not too far away. Sucking in a breath of the cool air, she sighed happily, glad to be moving. "I feel like I'm floating. I never knew I weighed this little." She joked lightly, flicking her black hair back so she could see.

Sage sort of chuckled and gave her a sheepish grin when she said she'd be fine. "If you're sure," he mused, happy to amble along beside her with Frynn in his arms snuggly. The baby was peering around, eyes wide like babies tend to do. She'd peer around, then turn to blink up at Sage with her big brown eyes, staring at him for a while before looking backa t the world around her curiously. It was adorable, and in all honestly, Sage found himself watching her with the same amount of wonder as she looked at him....never in a million years had he though his life would turn out like this, but he was certainly happy it had.

Quinn nodded curtly. "Sure as I'll ever be." She answered, her eyes lighting up as the path opened and the shimmering lake stood in front of them. As she looked at the water, she remembered how Sage and her used to go swimming in the rivers- not for months, though. Almost 7 months had passed since she actually swam last. Really, almost 7 months had passed since she did ANYTHING fun. Glancing down at sleeping Caspian in her arms, she knew it was worth it. She still had the yearning to go on a hunt, though, soon- now that she could.

Sage nodded in response to her comment, trusting she knew her limits. He did keep an eye on her though, not wanting her to suddenly get worn out or anything. He walked next to her happily, glad to be able to be outside with her again. It had seemed like ages since they'd been able to go on walks or anything....so it was certainly nice to get out there again.

Quinn watched the water for a couple moments more before turning back, her arms getting slightly fatigued. Caspian was HEAVY. Or she had just gotten way weaker. It could be both. She wasn't the happiest that it was a possibility. Turning back, she started walking back towards the cabin, letting her emerald eyes flit around the trees. Everything was so beautiful. When she got back to the cabin, she fed both babies again, as they had woken up. Almost 30 minutes later of taking care of Caspian and Frynn, they were both finally sleeping in the bedroom while she was sitting on the couch in the mainroom, a bit tired. "It's kind of cool that I lost 20 pounds in 2 hours." She quietly joked, smiling faintly.
