"I know... I'm sorry..." Roxie said with a sigh "I guess we've proven a point though... not even Fate knows everything." Roxie admitted "But at the same time she's right the future isn't set in stone..." She pointed out "Not to mention you're only seeing half of the picture..." Roxie reminded him. Max rolled her eyes and looked at him "Try to focus on the here and now okay? Please Sage..." She said gently "And please don't hide things like this from me anymore..." She begged him.

Sage sighed and nodded. "Well yeah, but why did it have to be this side I have to see," he complained. He shook his head slightly and pinched his lips together. They needed to figure it all out, these visions, and apparently even Fate couldn't. She'd slow them down....but that just made him see these things longer. He glanced over at Max and nodded, feeling a bit guilty for scaring her like that. "Sorry," he whispered, sort of just staring at his feet. Every time he messed up, part of him still wondered if Max would want to keep him. He knew she would, but old habits tended to rule his brain sometimes. He wished he could stop them.

"I can't answer that Sage." Roxie admitted "I'll leave you two alone then." She said snapping her fingers and disappearing.

Max knelt beside the couch "It's fine... I understand why you didn't say anything... but you gotta try and stop thinking everything going on with you isn't important... it's very important... I'd like our kids to have a father ya know..." before she quickly added "And I suppose I like having you around just a smidgen too." She teased playfully before kissing his forehead "Just try and be honest with me from here on out okay?"

Sage lifted his head to meet Max's gaze with a heavy sigh, still feeling rather guilty about it all. He smiled softly at her joke and nodded, though, humming in agreement to her comment. "I just....I thought it was just more flashbacks. I've handled those for years," he murmured, shaking his head. "And you're living for two, if not more, now, so I didn't want to keep you up all night," he murmured apologeticly.

Max smiled at him and ran her hand through his hair "I know but it's important Sage... I know you didn't want to worry me but you're gonna worry me more by not telling me things..." She said gently "I need you here okay?" She said firmly putting a hand on her abdomen "We all need you." She told him gently kissing his forehead "You're forgiven..." She assured him before giving him a hug.

Sage sighed and nodded, knowing she was right. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, burying his face in her neck. "I know," he hummed, though his words were muffled from where he was pressed up against his wife. "Thanks," he added. That was definitely nice to hear...because he was still terrified that he'd screw something up and she'd hate him for it.

She hugged him tightly "You're welcome." She cooed happily "We all love you so much." She told him before she looked him in the eye "I'll tell you something my parents never told me... No matter what you do I will never stop loving you okay? We may do things to annoy eachother and get on eachothers nerves but there's nothing we can't come back from... and I can say that for certain because not even Death can separate us." She told him.

Sage chuckled softly at Max's comment and then cocked his head at her next comments. He felt a burn in his chest and tears prick at his eyes as he wrapped his arms around the woman and buried his face in the crook of her neck. No one had ever told him anything like that before...and it was definitely appreciated. He had needed to hear that...the reassurance that she'd never stop loving him. That he would mess up and make her hate him.

Maxine smiled at him "Feeling better?" She asked gently giving his hand a squeeze. "Is there something you'd like to do before dinner?" She asked.

Sage hummed and nodded in response to Max's question before taking a deep breath and pulling back. "Can we just relax for a bit," he asked. "Watch a movie and cuddle up or something?" He was just really tired after all that...his mind was whirling and his head really hurts, so sitting down and chilling sounded nice.
