Sage nodded, just relaxing into Remy, who was surprisingly warm and soft. He did feel his cheeks flush when he turned back into a human and he could feel each curve of his body. Damn, was he falling for someone who wasn't human? Who didn't understand how they worked? That wasn't likely to end well. He'd been grossed out at the idea of relations and kissing and stuff. And he probably didn't like sage like that anyway, so why was he even thinking about it? He tried to push the thoughts out of his mind, nestling his nose into remys hair and drifting back off to sleep.

Remy slept well into the morning, waking up in Sages arms. He was nice and warm... he lifted his head, watching the human sleep... he was handsome... he looked so peaceful sleeping.

Sage slept for a while past Remy, though eventually did stir. Of course, being very much not a morning person, he just groaned and buried his face in remys chest to get away from the sun. He didn't think, he just....did it. Hopefully Remy wouldn't mind, but it was too late now.

Remy smiled, butterflied lashing out in his stomach. He chuckled lightly. "Goodmorning..." he murmured, his cheeks heating up.

|
Sage grunted out a sort of good morning to Remy in response to his greeting, not moving from where his face was pressed against his chest.

Remy smiled, wrapping his legs around Sages torso, hugging him tight. He didnt know why, but it just felt right.

Sage felt a smile flick across his face when Remy curled around him. "Can't believe you haven't gotten into a relationship," he mumbled, still half asleep

Remys smile faded. He sighed. "Mermen aren't gay. Anyone who's different is seen as an anomaly. They kick anomalies out of towns and no one really wants to be around them... they think it's like a disease or something..."

Sage grunted and shrugged. "Well you're human enough," he mused, pulling back to peer at him lazily. "You'll pick someone up soon, I'm sure," he added. "You're smart and attractive and anyone would be glad to have you," he added. Ok, so maybe the sleep hadn't completely worn off yet. But it was all true.

"Im not human though... how would I ever explain it to someone? What if they just shipped me off to some government institution to be studied?" He sighed.
