Sage let out a heavy sigh as he sat down, starting the lengthy process of paperwork. It was boring, for sure, but by the time it came time for walking people around, he moved to her cell eager to tell her about the updates.

Alleyah sat in her cell, staring at the ground, deep in thought. After she gets out, if that even happens, where will she go? She swallowed hard when Sage walked up to her cell door. "Walk time?" She asked

Sage nodded in response to her comment, u locking the door with a grunt and then moving to open the door, not talking about the case until they got outside. "There's a court date in two days," he noted. "Which means we have work to do. We can meet on my time off duty, figure things out," he added. Since it was legal business she'd be allowed to leave the cell and go soemwhere more private.

"I'll be let out of the cell?" Ally asked, her eyes wide. "Really?" She reached out the tug on his arm, and surprisingly she did. She paused after a few second to reconsider her actions. "Sorry" she mumbled, stopping and looking away, her cheeks turning red.

Sage nodded with a grin, not minding her grabbing him, and waved off her apology. "It's fine," he noted. "You'll be escorted to an office, where we'll be left alone to do what we need to do to prepare you for court." He wrinkled his nose slightly after that. "The only downside is instead of giving you a lawyer, they gave you me," he noted. Their evidence proved everything though, so hopefully it would work out.

Ally beamed slightly when he didn't pull away "it's been two years" she mumbled. "Two years since Ive last seen a normal person" she shook her head. "Well except for you" she shrugged slightly, looking up at the sky for a second. "So what all did you do when you went to see Marc? I have so many questions"

Sage chuckled softly and raised his eyebrows in amusement. "Well Im not sure how normal of a person I am, but I'll take the compliment," he laughed. Then he shrugged. "I just followed him around for a few hours. Once I got what I needed I left him alone."

Ally nodded slowly. Marc must have been thinking about her situation a lot if he was openly speaking about his accident, even if he thought he was alone. "You're more normal than me" she shrugged a little.

Sage chuckled softly and shook his head. "I would t bet on that," he mused lightly, really just amused. He wanted to tell her the truth....but he couldn't. Not now.

"Whatever" she grinned a little. "So... Scar... what's going to happen? When do we start working?" Ally tilted her head slightly, looking at him.
