Adrien finally sat up and went crisscross, letting the water run past him and around his body. It felt nice... calming. But he still couldn't shake the thought of those poor horses...

Frynn finally glanced around, surprise crossing her face when she saw Adrien upstream. Her fire quickly got snuffed out, disappearing as she lost concentration. Hesitating on whether to go over or not, she decided it was good enough knowing he was okay- and with how she guessed he thought, he didn't want to be near her constantly either. She waded closer to the bank and sat, pulling her knees up to her chest again self consciously to stare at the water.

Adrien sat in relaxed silence, although it really wasn't relaxed. He was annoyed at himself, and stressed. As well as panicked. With a hint of pain, which was just always there...

Frynn decided to go over, as she was bored and Adrien looked altogether super uninviting- she just had to annoy someone. Obvious sarcasm. Standing up, she walked closer to him, her dark blue eyes glancing at him. "How are you feeling?" She asked quietly, sitting down

Adrien watched her walk over and shrugged when she asked. "Like shit. How are you?" He asked bitterly, waving his hand through the water.

Frynn stared at the water a little longer before letting the same fire flicker across her fingers and into a ribbon onto the water. It danced around again, flickering across the surface. "The foal is doing better. I fed it some mash and watered it." She commented quietly.

"Good. It needed It most likely." He turned to look at Frynn. "But not as much after that stunt you pulled last night..." He whispered, staring at her. The concern in his voice was obvious. But he was obviously feeling pained as well.

Frynn nodded slightly, her eyes glazed over. She saw the fire on the water as a blur of red and blue mixing, swirling together in colors of beauty. They focused slightly as she glanced at him, her eyes saddening slightly. "I just wish our lives weren't so complicated with all this stuff... not that I've known you for long or anything." She mumbled, looking away. She fingered at a a loose strand of hair that fell away from her ears, in front of her face.
