Okay, I'll start. I think I'm going with Bellatrix comes and tries to kill Ajax)) - Ajax fell asleep rather quckly, or should I say, passed out rather quckly. He stayed that way for quitr a while, his fae a mask of pain as he slept - Goose watched Ajax for an hour before deciding to go to his own home, hunching his shoulders and flying off into the rain that had start started sprinkling. He went to his own cave a couple miles away, falling into a slumber almost as soon as he got there... even thought worry still trumped his mind - Rooster watched jax for quite a while, then looked at Goose leaving. He stayed for a couple more minutes before flaring his russet red wings, taking off himself and going to a cave that was near Goose.'s. He sat in the cave, staring at the wall and thinking. - Bellatrix leapt into the sky and went towards Ajax's cave, her fury mounting. She had bruises up and down her spine and back, but other than that she was unscatched. She took out two long daggers and landed silently in front of his cave, hearing ragged breathing. -Oh I am glad I stabbed him. If only that stupid angel wasn't there to make sure he didn't die for good. Good thing she isn't here now- Bellatrix thought with a crooked grin, stalking in silently. She went right to where he lay and stood over him for a moment before grabbing onto his shirt, her fingernails/claws digging into his chest. She wanted a fair fight, or at least to not kill him in his sleep. She waned to see him stumble around in agony as she kicked his ass. Bellatrix hissed in his face and threw him against the wall as she woke, her daggers ready. - Ajax very faintly heard footsteps in his cave but he didn't wake up, thinking it was probably Mercy for how light they were. Then little pinpricks of pain flared in his chest and he was half dragged out of the bed, which was impressive for even Bellatrix... but she couldn't get him any more up than that. Ajax woke up very quickly as she hissed in his face, then yelped as he got smacked against the wall. Agony so bad it made stars dance before his eyes shot through his back and in tendrils around his body, making it hard to breath. He scrambled out of the way and fell into the rain, rolling before staggering and pulling himself up with a tree branch. Now Ajax identified the attacker as Bellatrix, and was quite unhappy. He really didn't have the will to fight right now... for once... and he knew she was out to kill him. He gasped for air, leaning against the tree heavily. Mercy had been actually doing her job since she had left, but figured he was already breaking his word to her about not dying. Sure enough, she was right. She watched the strange silhouette of Bellatrix and, on impulse, settled at the mouth of the cave, looking at the demon. "I knew I didn't like you." She said coolly, glaring at her.

Bellatrix bared her fangs at Mercy as she landed. "It doesn't matter if you don't like me, angel." She spat. "I came here for one thing and one thing only. To eliminate that sprawling mess of gasping blood and pain that can't defend himself." She growled, shooting past Mercy like a rocky and slamming Ajax into the tree. Bellatrix heard a loud crack, followed by a couple more, and she knew she had rebroken some bones. She then dug another dagger deep into his stomach, her eyes glazed with anger. - Ajax was blurry eyed and not fully conscious when Mercy landed. He heard a snarled voice, then pain exploded through his back and chest. He could not breath in the least, and the stars danced in his eyes more. Next a fericous ripping feeling tore through his abdomen, and he decided then he was most definetely in the hands of Mercy because he was as weak as a newborn kitten at the moment. Ajax slumped to the ground, not even having enough stregth to keep himself upright.

Mercy was after her almost as fast as she moved, counting on the fact that she seemed harmless and unthreatening. She slammed her elbow as hard as she could into Bellatrix's shoulder, specifically a pressure point, forcing the dagger out of her hand and to the ground. She wrapped her other arm around the demon's neck and twisted her head with a cracking noise, yanking her backwards and slamming her down on the ground. She put the entirety of her weight on Bellatrix's back, shoving her into the dirt while contricting her windpipe. She felt around with her other hand for the dagger, snatching it up and pressing the point coolly against a portion of her spine. "Didn't you ever hear the term bitches get stitches? Because you might wanna familiarize yourself with it if you're gonna act like that." She growled, turning to look at Ajax. Edited at July 21, 2023 11:25 PM by Widow Valley Farms

Bellatrix twisted in Mercy's grip and attempted to slip out before failing, slamming into the ground with a hiss. She struggled to brreath correctly, feeling the tip of the dagger against her spine. Bellatrix then went limp, her head dropping in the dirt and her whole body relaxing. She stopped breathing, her eyes glazing over. Then she came alive with fire and whirled around, smacking the dagger out of Mercy's hand and bowling the smaller woman over backwards. Bellatrix then snatched the dagger up and made a quick stab at Ajax, and the dagger sliced through more chest muscle since he was laying face up. - Ajax felt and heard the scuffle going on near him, but he didn't pay attention because at this point he was struggling to breath. Then another searing pain ripped across his chest, and something snapped in gim. He swung his fist around in an arc and brought it directly down on Bellatrix's face, somehow finding the strength to stagger to his feet and stumble a couple feet away before sinking to the ground again. By sinking I don't mean gracefully... he slammed into the ground again like a 210 pound man falling like a sack o bricks. Ajax just needed to sit there for a couple years, catch her breath, yadadadadoo. Thankfully his fist impacted hard enough to daze Bellatrix badly and almost knock her out for a couple seconds.

She made a frustrated noise as she got bowled over, stunned for a moment as she scrambled to her feet. She made a dive for the dagger as Bellatrix dropped it with the punch, snatching it up and whirling to her feet. She regained her grip on Bellatrix while she could, twisting both her arms behind her back and pinning them there with her hand, poising the dagger against her throat, looking like she was pissed off enough to kill. Should Mercy end up killing her and then have a whole 'oh no I killed someone' panic or nooooo?)) Edited at July 21, 2023 11:38 PM by Widow Valley Farms

do whatever you'd like, but my opinion is no... she has to focus on Ajax LOL. Though a little later on if you do want to add something dramatic with Mercy pls do. I think maybe Bellatrix should do something and be about to kill mercy, then Ajax can kill Bellatrix... since he can rest with the guilt before battling severe wounds XD. If that's okay) - Bellatrix gasped for breath as in a whirlwind of chaos she was trapped again, her arms twisted painfully behind her back and her throat bleeding slightly froma dagger. She then got that angry glint in her eye, the one Ajax knew so well... the fighting glint. Bellatrix suddenly yanked her arms, dislocating both shoulders at once. She let out a scream of pain and anger, diving away. Bellatrix slammed into a tree and put one shoulder back in, cries of pain coming from her a couple times, then flew at Mercy with no rage ever seen before. She pulled out a long sword hidden somewhere with handles on both ends, bodyslamming Mercy to the ground and pressing the blade against the womans throat, enough to make it hard to breath and draw a lot of blood. Bellatrix pressed her knees in Mercy's hands and pressed the sword tighter, to the point where it would be very bad for Mercy to move because she would die. - Ajax felt everything as pain, his eyes were blurry, and he couldn't feel one of his arms. He vaugely saw Mercy grab Bellatrix, then everything snapped into focus when Bellatrix screamed. Ajax knew what was coming, so he hauled himself upright with a tree, and dove forward right about when Bellatrix was ready to decapitate Mercy. Ajax grabbed the demon's neck and snapped it in one quick motion, throwing it to the side in a pile of leaves. No more Bellatrix... and possibly no more him. He had lost insane ammounts of blood and had EXTREMELY bad wounds. Almost all of his ribs were either shattered or broken, one of his lungs had been punctured by a piece of bone that had ran away from his ribs, his back wound and opened up and he had a new stab wound in his gut, plus other multiple terribly bad things. Ajax wasn't feeling the most coordinated at this moment as his forward momentum sent him falling straight into a tree, which stopped the forward pretty quickly but helped the blackout part. He was on the edge of losing consciousness, laying on the ground, and almost choking on his own blood. Ajax found enough energy to roll over, spitting out blood on the ground. "I didn't... try... to die..." He uttered out the strangled words, coughing up more blood, his face twisted in pain

Mercy fought her hardest, but being her size there wasn't much she could do, especially against someone who was trained that much better than her. She ended up growling out two words with the sword pressed to her throat, feeling the blood begin to rise. "Fuck... you..." After that, it was a blur. Sounds, light, colors, time, they merged for a few moments before her brain cleared up enough to recognize Ajax slamming into a tree. She scrambled over to him, ignoring the comparitively minor cut on her throat and quickly getting into the best position she could to heal him. Which entailed laying his head gently in her lap while she pulled his shirt off to assess the extensive damage to his torso. She listened to his pitiful attempt at an apology. "I know, I know. Its okay, save your breath. Just save your breath." She soothed, running her hand down his chest to look for internal wounds. She wiped the blood away from his mouth with the other hand, tilting his head so he could cough the blood out instead of choking on it. The most major thing he was dealing with, besides blood loss, was a punctured lung. She held her hand over the area the hole would be, closing her eyes in concentration. Slowly, and rather painfully, the bone made its way back to its original position, leaving his lungs... usable. There was still a weak spot, but it would do for a temporary solution. She quickly began tearing his shirt apart, tucking it against his bleeding wounds to stop the blood loss and give herself more time to figure out priorities. "Don't fall asleep on me, okay? Just stay awake for me." She soothed, giving him a cobcerned look. She ran her hand over the gut wound, since it was bleeding the most, and managed to reduce it to a state where the bleeding was staunched, if barely. She barely managed the same with his back wound, which still required cloth to keep blood in, but it was flowing less freely. She fought for every bit of progress she could, in the end leaving him with multiple broken ribs, and a barely stable body suffering the effects of blood loss. She gently brushed his hair out of his eyes so she could see him better, sort of cradling his head at that point. There was only so much her angelicness would do for him at that point, especially since she had been using it so often, and his body was starting to become intolerant to it.

Ajax just sat there and let Mercy do whatever she was going to do, not having the energy nor the gull to flinch away as she ripped off his shirt or wince when she ran her hands over his wounds. At this point it was just every little jar of pain keeping him away, every little stab, every time he literally felt his bones MOVE inside of him as Mercy tried to heal him. Ajax knew for certain even she couldn't do barely anything... but he alos knew his body could hold up with an impressive burden. He had *cough* kind of trained it that way, having gotten hurt so much. As his lung mostly sealed up Ajax's nonexistant breathing became ragged breathing, which was a great relief. He could only *hold* his breath for so long. He felt his body trying to stitch itself back together, and let me tell you, it did not feel good. Ajax stifled a couple half hearted moans, whimpers, and winces as the process went through, not caring if any of it put a dent in his pride. At this point he had no pride or dignity left... bah, he got defeated by a female demon half the size of him with a death wish. He should be ashamed of himself, but right now he was just grateful to still be living. "Thank you... Mercy. I'm glad you came.. when you did... because my body isn't listening to my brains.. very insistent.. command to get up and fight." Ajax mumbled when he felt he could speak again, already kind of cracking jokes.

Mercy winced everytime he let out a pained noise. She couldn't bear to see people in pain and not be able to help them. Being helpless was horrible for her. She gave him a little smile because she didn't want him to think his attempt had gone completely to waste, even though she wasn't in the mood to laugh. "You're welcome. I mean, it's my job. And I think its about time your body stopped putting up with your brains bull, if thats what you put it through all the time." She teased, still watching him with concern. "Can you please stop scaring the holiness out of me, though? Because it is REALLY not fun." She huffed, laying his head down on her thigh and adjusting her legs to make him more comfortable.
