He glanced over at her as soon as she replied and couldn't help but smile slightly at the fact she listened to him. He then brought his gaze over to what he was doing. He worked quietly for about an hour until all of the hedges were trimmed and he cleaned up the clippings from the ground. Once he was done he staggered over to Mercy and sat down beside her. He leaned back against a tree she had gotten under and closed his eyes resting as sweat ran down his face

"You look exhausted." She tilted her head at him in concern, turning on her side to get a better look at him. "Wait here." She got up and sprinted off into the castle. She came back a few minutes later carrying a cool towel and a large glass of water. She set the water down beside him and placed the towel on his chest, settling down beside him on her knees. "Are you alright?" She asked softly.

He didn't open his eyes at he heard Mercy speak all he did was nod his head as if 'yes I am'. When she said her second comment though he opened his eyes and watched her dash off before sitting up more straight so he didn't pass out leaning on the tree. When she returned he gave her a tiny warm smile before nodding his head "Yeah I'm alright... Just exhausting knocking these jobs out faster than I should be" He said tiredly to her before taking the towel from his chest and wiping his face then using it to dry out his hair which was damp from sweat

"I should've grabbed you something earlier, im sorry." She settled back and put her back against the tree with him. "If you're too tired we can push our little adventure back a bit?"

"No need to apologize" He said to her softly as he watched her settle back beside him "No we can still go today, that's why I rushed myself was so we could have more time out... Just give me a few minutes and I'll be fine" He assured her with a small smile before grabbing the cup of water and drinking from it

"If you're sure." She shrugged, glancing at him with a bit of worry. She leaned her head toward him. "So, where are you planning to take me?" She asked, almost teasingly.
"I am 100% sure" He smiled once more before taking another drink of the water then setting it down. He turned his head to look at her with a smirk "You'll just have to wait and see" He said with a teasing tone
"I don't like waiting." She whined, giving him a playful glare. "You could always tell me now..." She smiled at him tentatively. "And then I won't pester you the whole way."
"Well you have to learn patience then" He smirked even wider before shaking his head "Pester me huh? That really doesn't change my answer" He said with a chuckle "Be patient or I might not take you anymore" He teased with a mischevious tone

She crossed her arms and huffed. "Fine. But only because I want to, not because you threatened to take it away." She poked him moodily, throwing him a dirty look.
