She'd been walking for a while now, Which was not really good on her legs as...she was wearing heels. Sierra eventually sat down against an oak tree to rest for a minute, She didn't think the village was that far...last time she had visited she was scolded by her father & grounded, Her bodyguard, unfortunately, was praised, Which made her even more upset so she ended up getting him fired. Now I feel more lonely than ever... She said silently, No Sierra, you are NOT going back there, so shut up...stop acting like you miss Tyler's company, you've only been gone... a few hours? She sighed, Standing back up to start walking again. Edited at May 15, 2023 05:07 PM by Wistera

Tyler watched Sierra sit down. This whole time he had been thinking about how much she must have really despised him if she had this strong of a reaction to what Ivy said. It did make him sad that he was that extremely boring and silly that she would run away from him. And it made him sad that he had to follow her, even though he rather wouldn't. Tyler started walking again as Sierra did, though this time his shoulders sagged a little more. Almost everybody hated him and nobody liked him, so this wasn't different... it was just a disgusting feeling.

As she walked through the forest every once in a while she'd weave off the path, Only because of the strange noises that echoed from out of the forest, It was becoming dark now, The sun was setting, And she did not want to be here alone...in the dark. Finally, she saw a light in the distance, Several lights actually, I made it! She quickened her pace towards the village and arrived in a short amount of time. As she entered the town she obviously stood out from the people...Im gonna have to blend in more. She nervously walked into a building and asked for a room, The woman was nice and led her up the stairs into a narrow hallway. Finally, she was safe, Well she thought so, Sierra felt happy, No fancy stuff, Just ordinary furniture... nothing like the stuff in her room, She locked the door and window before sitting down on the edge of the bed, Somewhat sad she didn't have Tyler's company, yet she knew if he was here, He'd be here to take her back into the castle that defiantly was more of a prison- at least to her.

Tyler kept following Sierra, a bit disappointed when she found the village. This meant he would have to stand here... for hours, he guessed. Probably through the night. Tyler leaned up against a post, out of view, watching Sierra walk into a building. Since she did not come out he assumed she might be going to bed... but he kept watch anyway. Tyler watched drunk people stumble around, little kids race through the alley ways, soldiers march through the streets... he would prefer the middle of the forest any day. No more tall fancy castles, no more loud crowded towns... the peaceful forest.

Sierra lay in her bed for a while, But for some reason, she just couldn't sleep...She decided she'd read, And that meant she'd have to go to the general store and buy a book, Sierra prayed her father had sent guards to find her to this branch of territory yet, Unlocking her door, and walking down the narrow hallway, she made her way out of the building and towards the general store, almost knocking into a sober man who seemed to be mumbling a bunch of gibberish S. Sierra entered the store, browsed the shelves for a minute, then went up to the man running the store, if she did say herself, He looked very intimating, that's why she wanted to get out of there as quick as she could. Sierra smiled kindly and passed the book to him, "You can charge it to my main account, it should be on there." The man looked confused, "We are only accepting cash." Great. Where am I supposed to get cash? Maybe I should have brought money with me. She stood there for a moment, thinking.

*insert 'I told you so'* XD - Tyler raised his brows slightly and watched Sierra walk off to the store. He followed silently, standing right outside the building and listening. -Oh great... she's gonna get herself into another fix- Tyler thought, a frown coming upon his face. He was slightly amazed, though. Sierra really could just,... walk into a store, say to charge it to her 'account' and leave? Tyler's 'account' was some cash stuffed underneath a log! He resisted a snort at the thought, hoping nothing went wrong inside.

*insert 'gonna ignore the consequences of my actions'*
After a moment of thinking, and resisting the stare of the man. "Well, I'm getting this book either way." She finally declared, The man seemed to not like that, as he now looked upset- well more agitated than anything. "I said I only take cash, If you arent going to pay, Then leave." The man grumbled. Sierra rolled her eyes, "No, I think I'll leave with the book... Bye!" She turned around and was starting to leave when she heard the man come from behind his counter, Now he looked mad, yup, like he could kill her, right here, right now, Sierra did look a bit scared, But what could she do?

-Idiot- was Tyler's first thought. His second was totally unsatisfying and a little sad. -Aladdin time...- Tyler thought with a grimace. As the man came out from behind the counter he whisked in. "Ah how you doing, say let's give this girl a break. Apple for your troubles? Thanks." Tyler said quickly, in and out. He snatched the book out of Sierra's hands, placing it in the persons pocket. Then Tyler put the apple in his pocket at the same time as grabbing the book again. Then he turned and marched Sierra out. "Let's go, he will realize what happened sooner rather then later and I can't jump from rooftop to rooftop like Aladdin." Tyler muttered, almost to himself. He handed Sierra the book and walked quickly away, not really caring if she followed. Tyler sure didn't want to get his butt kicked by a man that looked like a gorilla.

Sierra's first thought when she heard the familiar voice was, Oh god. How had he found her? She quickly followed after him after that switching- thing- he did. "Thank you." She said, but then it was followed by a grumpy, half-upset protest. "Why are you here? Just so you know I don't want to go back to the Castle and you can't make me." She said, Looking away from him. She was sure she wasn't followed, and Tyler was at the Castle when she left, Sierra was very confused, also upset... and a bit happy- But of course she'd never admit that, He had just saved her from that man and got her book in the process.

Tyler turned around and crossed his arms, looking half angry. "I'm here to prevent stuff like that from happening, and to protect you. It's my JOB. I'm not going to make you go back to the castle, and I'll just disappear until you get in trouble again." Tyler half snorted half growled, whirling around and leaving. He wasn't just showing emotions... he knew Sierra was obviously still angry at him and he was respecting that. Tyler was upset that he really was that horrible, but he wasn't going to let that get in the way of his job. He went back to the post in the corner and leaned against it, thinking. He was sure now Sierra would try to get away... and then get angry when he followed...
