It hadn't been very long; maybe an hour, If that before the girl started squirming in her sleep. Not nightmares per se, but rather through nerves. She felt like she had forgotten something. If she had forgotten to bring a few old outfits, but this was something more important than that. Perhaps she had forgotten to note things down from the day. If she had missed anything her mother would have gone ballistic. This was one of the first few social events she got to help manage, and, in her mother's words, 'it's of utmost importance things go well.' She would have to figure it out in the morning though. At some point, she had woken herself up. Well, kind of. She wasn't one hundred percent sure where she was until she took a look around. She spotted Sage before flopping back on the sand. "Hey," She groaned wearily.

Sage glanced over at the girl and grunted. "Sleep well," he teased. He knew she had needed the rest though, and so had he. He looked back up at the sky, watching the clouds roll around past the stars

Anya rolled her eyes before giving a nod. "Yeah," She grumbled with a small smile. "You get any sleep?" She murmured out before sitting up properly. She rubbed her eyes a little as she stared at the ground. "Sorry. I know this isn't overly fun." She noted with a wobbly chuckle. "What are you doing tomorrow? I was thinking about going a little further from town - exploring a little more maybe."

Sage chuckled. "I got about an hour and a half." He nodded and thought for a minute. "Next time you show up, we can just wander around town and do whatever." He gave her a crooked grin. "But tonight the princess needed her beauty rest," he teased.

Anya tilted her head at him for a moment, a worried look plastered on her face. It took yet another solid minute to realise that he was was just teasing. The girl scoffed. "...Are you calling me ugly?" She asked with a smirk, "because if so, i think you may need more 'beauty rest' than yours truely." She joked.

He put a hand to his chest in mock offense and gasped dramatically. "Well, I'd say I'm more ruggedly handsome than beautiful. Beauty rest is insignificant to me," he joked back at her. He always had a good comeback, and was curious to see if Anya would have fun with him or not. She seemed to enjoy joking around so far.

The girl grinned as she let out a muffled chuckle, rolling her eyes slightly. "Yes, well as 'ruggedly handsome' I'm sure you think you are, I think should look into it. Maybe it would fix..." she looked him up and down before pursing her lips thoughtfully, "all... this." She noted, gesturing to all of him. She let herself flop back onto the sand, a bright smile still quite clear.

Sage chuckled and shrugged."well 'all this' as you say is just perfect for what it needs to do." He tapped a finger against his lips thoughtfully. "Maybe I should give the beauty rest to you, you need it more than I do," he responded, a smirk growing on his face even though he tried to hide it with his messy hair. She was pretty, though, anyone would say that.

"Uh huh," she nodded with a grin, "perfect for running around and brawling with people," she sneered teasingly as she rolled onto her side, "Though, maybe you should give all the beauty rest to me. You know, I'd be the most irresistible damsel in the kingdom." She looked thoughtful for a moment before letting out a quiet laugh. "If I get that, then you can be a little ruggedly handsome." The girl noted brightly.
