Caden finished eating, the headaches easing slightly as he then realized just how much free time he had when he finally stopped working for a second.

Emily was silent, doing laundry before going to make their bed

Caden could now walk and see straight again, heading up to their room. "Any plans today?" He asked, slipping off his belt and tie before unbuttoning his shirt, slipping out of it as well as his slacks, pulling on a hoodie and sweats.

She shook her head silently, a soft yet worried look on her face as she stayed silent

He nodded, walking back downstairs to where Murphy darted around the corner, sprinting full speed to him. "Murphy, no. NO MURPHY-" Caden started, jumping out of the way as the Great Dane jumped at him.

Caden went and flopped down on the couch, Murphy settling atop him and somewhat forgetting he was over 120 pounds, basically a really heavy weighted blanket. "Hey, only Em's allowed to do that--" He muttered, grabbing his phone.
