Sage shrugged, still grinning, in response to her comment. "I dunno, I've taken out a bear before," he mused. "I did love put in the woods for years, remember," he pointed out, eyebrows arching upwards slightly. "I think I could manage."

"I know you took it down, it was a big grizzly with a blue eye, and a scar on it's muzzle, I was watching, you just never knew I was there." She noted, sitting after a moment and picking at her nails. "I thought you were a soldier, so I hid, stayed silent as I mouse while you fought." Elara looked up at him. "I'd known you for a while before you broke into my window, y'know."

Sage felt his eyebrows lifted upwards in a silent sort of surprise. "That was you," he asked, blinking slowly as he took it in. "That explains why it felt like someone was watching me sometimes," he added with a small laugh. He cocked his head slightly as she mentioned knowing him before he broke in, just grinning. "I never would have guessed," he admitted with an amused shake of his head.

"That's why I didn't freak out when you did break out, knew you wouldn't hurt me. Maybe just steal a favorite necklace---or two, which to this day, I have not seen since then." She noted, tossing a teasing glare at him

Sage wrinkled his nose slightly when she noted she wasn't afraid when he'd broken in. "It was a little odd that you weren't freaking out," he remembered. "I figured you were just hiding it well or something," he added with a shrug. Though, when she brought up her necklaces he offered her a sheepish smile. "Yeah....those are long gone," he admitted, tone slightly apologetic.

|
"It was a little odd you kinda just stood there at first, stared for a second before actually stealing," She retorted, smiling softly at the memory. "Though the necklaces...that's definitely being left as a grudge against you." Elara mused, laughing lightly.

Sage nodded, wrinkling his nose in faint amusement. "In my defense, you were supposed to be in some big fancy meeting," he reminded her. "I was a little surprised to walk on on you," he added. Though, he grunted when she mentioned the necklaces. "That's fair," he noted. "Though I could always steal you some more," he added.

|
She snorted, laughing. "Please, the 'big meeting' I was supposed to be in was the one where my parents decided what prince I was being sent off to get married to, all for alliances. So, not very surprising I walked out." Elara noted, grinning and raising her brows when he noted he could steal more necklaces for her. "Now that...I think I would like."

|
Sage chuckled when she mentioned what the meeting had been about. "Ah," he mused, nodding along. "That does make sense," he admitted. "I probably would have refused to go too, if I was in your position," he added with a slight wrinkle to his nose. At her comment about liking more necklaces, he just grinned with a nod. "Next time we're in town I'll snag some for you," he promised lightly.

She grinned, laughing lightly as she always did, shaking her head softly. "Funny thing is, he was really ugly." Elara mused, though her smile and overall expression grew softer and more genuine when Sage said he'd snag a few necklaces for her. "Thank you, love." She noted, kissing his cheek before settling once more.
