Camery Valatieri - Cam held his hand a little tighter as the guard swarmed around them, seemingly ready to defend themselves. She looked up at his voice, those blue eyes welling with tears again. Her brows pinched together her somach rolling. "Dad?" She whispered, although her voice was rushed and she just looked so confused. She didn't know what to do with herself. The man just looked at her for a moment, and her mother seemed so skittish. The man watched quietly, before standing up and waking over to a little gap between the guards. "Camery, Hunny, you know he can't be here," he murmured. He didn't look sorry one bit... Cam could see that. She was so confused. She thought this would fix things. One of the guards walked over with handcuffs, holding them up to Kai. He had the chance to go with them willingly. Camerys eyes started to water by then. She knew what he meant. She knew Kai really shouldn't have been here. All her father thought, though, was that she'd been forced into it. She'd been forced here, taken hostage or... something. Something awful. "Daddy, please, he... I love him," she whispered, her voice breaking slightly. He just shook his head, clearly getting frustrated. "It's for your own good - this... excuse of a king has already hurt you once. He snuck in, with every intention on hurting us. Of hurting you."

Camery Valatieri - Camerth stared at the guards for a moment, watching as he edge closer to her Fiamce with handcuffs clutched in his hands. She shook her head then quickly turned to Kai; her eyes watering as she watched him. Her heart was in her throat, and it felt like at any given moment she could just throw up everywhere. She shoved the guard away for a moment, and rested her hands of Kai's cheeks. "It's okay, it'll be okay," she promised him, her tears already rolling down her cheeks. She didn't know what was happening. Her parents... were...goood...? They'd never hurt anyone? So why weren't they giving Kai a chance? He deserved a chance at least. She held his hands tightly, her voice breaking. "I'll fix it okay. I'll make it all better again," she cried, She wanted to collapse into him... scream, shout or... or something. Looked over at him after s moment, her breath hitching. "I'll speak with them," she promised, burying her head into his chest. His heart was beating so fast... he was so scared. She just held onto him tighter. Hwe father walked over and grabbed her by the back of her shirt, pulling her away from the boy and just... dragging her away. She knew what they'd do to Kai. They'd always said if they got their hands around the Noght Kingdom king, they'd have him hanged. They would do that. She thrashed and screamed, but the man didn't stop until she dropped her in her room, his face hardening as he watched his daughter sob like a baby. He sighed, and looked down at her as she curled up on the floor. "Camery, pincess," he muttered softly. "What they have done to you won't be forgiven. They'd manipulated you to the point where marriage is the only thing that could fix it. It's okay. We'll look after you now," he murmured, taking a hold of h daughters hand and sliding the ring that fit so perfectly on her finger off. She just sobbed harder. "No... no, you don't understand," she whispered, looking up at him as she quickly lost control of her breathing. "I wanted this - I asked for it!" She cried. Her father shook her head, giving her look of nothing but pity. "I need you to stay hare for now. We'll fix things for you," he muttered, shoving the ring in his pocket. He looked to the door, then back to his child. "You'll be in here until I say the word," he murmured, then opened the door, letting a few guards in. They'd be watching her... looking after her. He gave a pout, almost a condescending one. One she'd never seen from her father before. "And stop your tears. It'll give you wrinkles, you know," the man chuckled as he wandered back, and the guards took their stations around her room, making sure she'd have no chance of getting out h til they'd done what they needed to do.

Camery sat in her room, sobbing her eyes out as she lay on the floor. The guards were watching, and she'd never felt so... vulnerable. She tried to get up, to go and see Kai... for something to happen. She wanted to see him. She wanted him to know that she didn't want any of this to happen. She loved him so much, she wanted him to know that. Her lips still tingles from the last touch of his lips to hers. The sound of his cracking voice burned in her mind and god she shouldn't have brought him here. She knew it wouldn't go well, even if she was trying to convince herself otherwise. She felt so broken. She needed him. After about half an hour, though, she heard the shrieking through the castle. It was Kai. It was unmistakably Kai. Her tears grew heavier, and she sprinted towards the door, her shoulders shaking and her face red. The guards stopped her, shoving her back to the ground with strict instructions not to let her out. "I need to help him- I have to- I need him," she started begging and apologising, laying herself out bare to try and get to him. She needed to make sure he was okay. They just stared at her, though, their faces as cold as ever. She kept on trying for a little while after that... trying to get out every way she could, trying so hard to get to him and at very least help him.

As hours past, Camery tried to calm herself. She knew what would happen in the morning. She couldn't leave, the guards wouldn't let her. But she needed to see him. She needed to stop whatever was happening. The lashes of whips were echoing through the castle, but she couldn't hear his screams. Her brows pinched together, trying to think of something... anything. She couldn't believe her father would do this too him. She couldn't believe that he'd ripped them apart like this. She knew what would be happening down there... she didn't want him hurting. Eventually, though, she'd cried herself to exhaustion, and passed out there on the floor, curled up in a tight ball. She woke up later the next morning, and suddenly rather panicked. There was only one guard now, and he was stood at the door. She had to get out. She looked around, her eyes falling on the balcony. Yeah. She needed to get out. She could see the people gathering in the centre of town... it could only mean one thing .

Camery stared out the window, her eyes wide as she watched people gathering. They wouldn't actually do it, would they? They wouldn't hang him? She didn't think her parents were that kind of people. Her breath hitched in her throat, and all she could do was cry. After five minutes, though, she could make out his shape. His limp, contorted shape. Her breath hitched, and suddenly... she needed to get out. She couldn't start seeing him like that. Both of her parents weren't far behind, ready to watch the show at hand. She just stared, but after a moment, she finally started to plan... well, not so much of a plan as climbing off her balcony. She dropped to the floor as she heard the guard in her room yell, and just sprinted. She'd never ran so fast in her life. Her breaths were heavy, and she had to doge the guards they'd left behind until she got to the gates. She found a jagged piece of glass on the streets, and picked it up, holding it tight in her palms until she felt hot blood pouring down her body. She didn't know what she was planning on doing, but surely it was something. It had to be something, she couldn't leave him like this without trying to help. It wasn't long until she'd made it into the town, covered in sweat and completely exhausted. She was still clutching the sharp glass, although held it up as she screamed. "Malakai," she cried, only glad she'd made it before the anything had happened. She shoved her way up to the station, and cut the rope that was being tightened around his neck. Her father stepped forwards, but all she could do was point the glass at him. "Don't you dare come near us!" She screamed at him, already fired up. The state Kai was in... well, it was awful. But that was the last thing on her mind as of then. She just wanted him alive.
