Finn smiled softly, rubbing her shoulder. After a few moments he turned to her again. "How are you feeling, sunshine?" he asked. He did genuinely want to know how she was, but he also wanted to know if he should go through with his plan on proposing tonight. |

Sera leaned into his touch, letting out a quiet sigh as she rested her head on his shoulder for a moment before lifting it again to meet his gaze. Her eyes still held the remnants of exhaustion, but there was a flicker of warmth there too—soft, steady. “I’m okay,” she said gently, giving him a small smile. “A little shaky still, but better. It passed.” She reached over, brushing a bit of hair from his face, her thumb lingering against his cheek for a second longer than necessary. “Why?” she asked, voice still warm but curious. “Do you have something up your sleeve, Mr. Lemon Sorbet?” Her smile widened a bit, teasing but loving. Even now, she could tell he was thinking about something—something important. |

Sera blinked, then let out a soft laugh, a hand coming up to rub her forehead. “Oh—right,” she said sheepishly. “I remember now… I guess my brain’s just a little scrambled.” She looked at him again, her smile apologetic but tender. “I didn’t forget on purpose, I promise. Today’s just… been a lot.” Her fingers curled gently around his. “But I’d still love to continue. Just… maybe something low-key?” She tilted her head, eyes softening. |

Sera’s expression softened even more at the suggestion, a little warmth blooming in her chest. She gave his hand a small squeeze and nodded. “That sounds perfect,” she murmured, leaning her head gently on his shoulder. “Just you, me, the waves… I’d like that a lot.” |
