Caden awoke the next morning with a groan, hangover hitting hard as he saw the tylenol and dumped some into his hand, unable to see how many with how blurry his vision was, swallowing them dry as he got up, stumbling over to the kitchen.

Emily was awake and had cooked him breakfast, skipping the meal and marking the third in a row.

Caden rubbed at his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose as he tried to find the right words to say. "I'm. . . sorry, that you had to see me passed out, that kinda stuff. I didn't trip yesterday, must've been a click or something because one second I was getting some Scotch, the next i'm tied to a chair getting interigated by some Russian dudes and absolutely getting my ass whooped." He noted.

"It's fine. You're allowed to do whatever you want. I'm not your warden." She said quietly

"I know just. . what's that smell? Smells like absolute Heaven in here," He slurred

"Waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs" She said, plating it and putting it at his spot on the tabel

"You are actually the best and I would kiss you but I can't see half way so, probably not a good idea," He mused, sitting down and eating.

"Good lord. Did you take a tylenol?" She asked

"A few," He admitted quietly, taking another bite.

"Okay...Drink more water after this" She said, placing a mug of coffee in front of him
