Sage just grinned over at her when she mentioned he could eat most of them. "I suppose that's a bonus on our end," he noted in agreement. He shifted to pat the wolf as he moved towards Elara. "Such a fierce couch potato," he agreed, finding the whole thing rather amusing. "Gonna have to teach him to attack who we want," he added with a snicker.

"Anybody who even runs at any of the three of us he'll run after, that's why I have to warn people he doesn't know to walk. Otherwise. . . they'll end up like Maurice, just another name on a grave." Elara mused, laughing lightly before shaking her head. "Varys, you've always been a little killer." The woman grinned, babying him as she crouched back down, the wolf flopping down---wanting scratches.

Sage just nodded along, chuckling softly. "I'm sensing there's a story behind Maurice," he noted with fond amusement, patting Varys before shifting to add a few more logs to the fire with a breath of air. "Yeah, the big bad wolf himself," he added with a snicker in response to Elara's next comment, shaking his head with amusement.

"Oh about Maurice," She paused, clamping her hands over Liz's ears. "Varys tore her face half off, only because she tried to punch me, he was. . . a lot more savage back then." The woman mused, smiling lightly, removing her hands from the girl's ears.

Sage hummed slowly in thought, with a slow nod as he treid to picture that. "well...she probably deserved it," he noted with a shrug. "at least a little bit," he added, pinching his thumb and forefinger together to where they were only apart by an inch or so as he spoke. Then, he glanced down at varys. "Getting old, are we," he asked teasingly, voice full of fond amusement.

|
She chuckled, smiling lightly. "He's not too old---from what I can tell, at least. And that was around a year ago, guess i've taught him to not be so. . . much, I guess." Elara noted, raising her brows in amusement.

Sage just laughed softly as he looked down at the wolf. "Ah, so he's just become a family man, then," he noted, still amused by the whole thing. Of course, the same thing had happened to him, so he couldn't really tease the wolf too much. "Don't worry, it's not usually bad," he added, knowing that the wolf probably didn't understand him....that comment was mostly teasing Elara more than anything.

|
She rolled her eyes at Sage's comment, scoffing lightly. "Oh whatever, you never know, may just tell him to get you." Elara sang, not meaning a thing she said about sending Varys after him, turning and carrying on with sorting things.

|
Sage snickered softly at Elara's teast, giving her a wide grin. "Nah, you both love me too much," he chirped, clearly just teasing back. "Besides, I think I could handle the big bad wolf if I had to," he added, laughter twinkling in his eyes. He just watched her, then, as she moved, a soft smile lingering on his face. He really did love her.

She snorted, howling in laughter when he said he could take on the wolf. "Sage listen, yes you're a good fighter, that's against humans though, he'd pull you to shreds." Elara mused, grinning at him.
