Aria nodded sadly. "You sure?" She whispered to Sage curiously. Did Caroline really hate her? It really hurt to hear that from a 4 year old. Aria just cuddled up against Sage and buried her face against him.

Sage nodded and hugged her tighter when she buried her face in his chest. "I'm sure," he hums. "You're her mother...she needs you." He knew the little girl loved her mother. She was just upset, was all.

Aria nodded, trying to give him a small smile. Caroline rolled her eyes and pouted on the couch. Aria wanted to be nice, and handed Caroline a few gummy bears. Caroline snatched them from her mother's hand and huffed.

Sage raised an eyebrow slightly at their interaction, and after a few moments he grunted. "Caroline, what do you say to your mother," he asked her, in an almost warning tone of voice. Saying thank you and having manners was important. He was not going to raise a spoiled brat.

Caroline sighed. "Thanks I guess." She said, rolling her eyes. Aria gave her a sad smile and got up, walking to her bedroom. Caroline watched her walk away.

Sage sighed and watched aria go before looking over at Caroline and grunting. "Why don't you go apologize," he told her. He hated to see either of them upset.

Caroline grunted. "Ugh, fine..." She pouted, walking to Aria's bedroom. "Sorry Mom..." The little girl said. She walked over to Aria and gave her a gentle hug. Aria grinned and picked the girl up. "I forgive you." She said. Caroline wrapped her arms around her mother's neck and rested her head against her shoulder happily. "I love you Mom." She said. "I love you too Caroline." Aria whispered, walking back out to the living room.

Sage hoped the apology would work. And it seemed like it did...he couldn't help but grin when he saw them come back out together, happy. It was good to see them happy together again. He didn't like to see either of them upset, and especially upset at each other.

Aria smiled over at Sage and sat Caroline down on the couch, sitting down next to the little girl happily. They shared the gummy bears, so Caroline wouldn't get upset again.

Sage pressed play on the movie again once everyone had settled back down, glad that they could work things out between them. Working out problems like that was important to good relationships....and he wanted his family to have good ones.
