Caroline giggled and ran to the cupboard, grabbing the whole pack of gummy bears and dumping it in a bowl. She laughed and ran back to the couch.

Sage raised an eyebrow at Caroline. "That's more than a few," he warned her lightly. "Save some for later, then you can enjoy them more," he told her happily. It was true too, not just an excuse. But having the whole pack of gummy bears really wasn't a good idea, especially right before bed.

Caroline shook her head and sat down, eating her gummy bears. She wasn't even supposed to be eating them at all. Aria woke up and saw Caroline. "Sage?! Those were my gummy bears! I told her she can't have any!" The girl said.

Sage was about to tell the girl no when aria woke up. He grunted and nodded. "I was about to say that no, she can't have them all, and if she can't manage to eat only a few than she can't have any at all," he said, giving the girl a warning look. He didn't want to upset her, but she did have to listen to her parents.

Aria looked at Caroline and grabbed the bowl of gummy bears from her. The little girl started crying and tried taking the bowl back, but ran to her room and locked the door. Aria sighed and curled back up against Sage.

Sage sighed slightly and wrapped his arm around Aria. "She'll be alright, right," he asked, glancing over at the door Caroline had dissapeared from. "Does she always get that upset?" He'd doped she could listen to her parents and deal with stuff, but then again, she was still young. He did expect respect for her parenst though.

Aria just sort of leaned into Sage. She shook her head. "No, she's normally super calm. And when she does get upset, she gets over it pretty quick." The girl admitted. Sure enough, Caroline came back out and sat down next to her mother.

Sage cocked his head curiously and nodded, then welcomed Caroline back to the room once she'd decided that the gummy bears weren't worth ruining their night. He wrapped his arms around both of them happily.

Caroline looked over at her parents. "I like Dad better." She said looking at Aria. Aria looked down sadly. Caroline huffed and watched the movie. Henry had fallen asleep.

Sage frowned slightly at Caroline's comment but just hugged aria a bit tighter. "She's just upset, she loves you too," he whispered to her where the little girl couldn't hear.
