Amira didn't answer

Sage didn't mind her not answering, he just stayed there, content to hold her

After a while, Liz began crying and Amira got up to grab her

Sage let her up to go grab Liz.

Amira grabbed Liz and sat on the couch, not talking until the infant fell back asleep and Amira put her to bed. She took a shaky breath and sat on the kitchn floor, out of sight

Sage gave her some time alone, not wanting to bother her at all, so he moved to just sketch out some ideas for claw scratches to sell.

Amira eventually went over to Sage and watched him over his shoulder, curious

Sage looked up at her with a soft smile. "Hey babe," he sort of hummed, greeting her when he noticed her behind him

Amira smiled softly. "Hey" She said, kissing his neck softly and watching

Sage smiled when he felt her kiss, sort of just resting his head against her lightly while he continued to work.
