I'm pissed. Earlier I mentioned that my brother broke up with his girlfriend and that my Mom was bringing his cat home so we could rehome it. Turns out the thing has been getting neglected. It was locked in a room with little food and water and no litter box.

Sage hummed softly and shook his head. "No," he admitted. "I..don't think I want to name one after Caspian," he added after a moment, brows furrowing slightly as he thought about the baby he'd lost. It had been a while ago, but the grief was still sharp. It just seemed wrong to replace him with another son.
