(Oh geez yeah that was definitely an interesting day lol! Glad they found his owner!)

Sage grunted and took the number, glancing at it before handing it over to Max. "I'll loose this," he admitted with a chuckle, having started to playfully dig around in the sandbox with his daughter. It was amusing really ...he still really did act like a child sometimes. But it was nice to get his mind off of the nightmares for a bit.

Maxine smiled happily and took the number putting it back in her back pocket happily as Quinn headed off with her kids Maxine joining her own two kids in the sand helping Sage dig in the sand and began building a small castle for Charlie who didn't seem to care much it was knocked over within seconds of it being built before she decided to see how sand tasted "Charlie yuck!" Max yelped brushing the sand out of Charlies hands "Sand does not taste good sweetie I promsie..." she laughed.

Sage squeaked when he saw his daughter try to shove the sand in her mouth and nodded quickly, agreeing with Max. "That's really really gross baby girl," he groaned, wiping sand off her pudgy cheeks, shaking his head in amusement.

"Pffftttt" was the only thing they got in return for that warning. Maxine laughed "I suppose she's already rebellious..." She admitted with a laugh before she suddenly cut off and perked up quickly getting out of the sandbox her eyes flashing a bright purple as she slammed an invisible figure against the tree. The figure revealed herself "Impressive..." Roxie chuckled "No other demon can do that... but no other demon is a mother protecting a child..." She admitted as Max removed her arm from Rosie's neck "Sage has taught me well..." She said "He did... but I guarantee even he didn't know I was here." She smirked "Congradulations by the way... I hear another small heartbeat in there." She said gesturing to Max's stomach with a nod.

Sage huffed out a breath and was about to comment on his daughter's rebellion when he squeaked as Max attacked Roxie. "I knew you were there," he protested. "You just didn't seem very....threatening," he huffed. Then his eyes brightened when she mentioned the new heartbeat and he nodded eagerly. "We found out this morning," he chirped. Then he frowned. "Wait...what do you want? Not to drag me off somewhere again I hope," he hummed. He wasn't upset, really, but he did want to stay with his family...they'd just gotten home.

"Sure... " She said sarcastically "You just don't want to admit that your wife is better at this then you." She teased "Auras can be masked or have you forgotten that?" She asked raising a brow "Your instinct is going Sage... that's for sure..." She admitted "Strange you'd think you'd be more protective with not one but two children involved..." She pointed out. Roxie chuckled and shook her head "Not yet... but Hades will be visiting soon... you need to get back up to par and keep Max up to par as well..." he said "And do whatever you can for Charlie... He knows about them... they're the reason he's coming... if he doesn't think they're strong enough I don't know what he'll do." She pointed out.

Sage huffed out a breath and shit Roxie a withering look, though there was no real negative emotion in the look. "My instinct is fine," he grumbled. "I can recognize you, masked aura or no. You're like a parasite on my backside I can't get away from," he teased the other demon. Then he wrinkled his nose, more annoyed than anything at this whole Hades business. "Well he can go throw a temper tantrum then if he doesn't like this all," he huffed. "We already beat him and his army once, isn't that enough," he groaned. Charlie was a child....there was nothing to be done about that. She was only half demon, and pushing her too far could hurt her. And Max ...Max was pregnant. He couldn't push her too far either. His stomach churned, and he realized with a sickening thought that maybe his nightmares weren't simply just dreams. He'd have to pay attention more.

Roxie laughed at him "And you aren't a thorn in mine?!" She yelped back with a smirk before she tilted her head "No you dummy it was another demons army we defeated... you think a few hundred puny demons could defeat one of the ancient gods? Please..." She retorted "I could help you..." She said pulling out a potion bottle and glancing at Max "You probably don't recognize this because it was in your drink... but this is the same potion I dosed you with to speed everything up when you were pregnant with Charlie... I could speed up her growing and aging process too..." She offered "Your choice..." She shrugged.

Sage rolled his eyes and then shrugged. "One army or a different army. Does it matter all that much," he huffed. Then he scowled when Roxie mentioned that she could speed up the pregnancy again and shook his head stubbornly, immediately tensing up and picking Charlie up before hovering over Max's shoulder defensively. "That almost killed her," he hissed, his temper getting the best of him. He had come to terms with Roxie, she was a friend, but this was too much for him to accept right about then.

"I was talking about aging Charlie..." She explained "Your wife and daughter as well as your unborn spawn are on the chopping block don't you understand? If he doesn't think they're up to his standards he won't let them live and all of this will have been for nothing." She told him "Do you think Hades will give a rats ass that Charlie is barely a year old?" She asked "Or that your wife is having a second part human child? He's not gonna give a damn... He will clear you off the chessboard without a second thought one way or another." She pointed out her hands behind her back "You think what I've done is bad?" She chuckled "I pity you if you disappoint Hades..." She admitted. Max looked at Sage a protective arm around Charlie and another around her middle warily looking at roxie.
