Sage had moved to finish his own food quickly once Elara started to clean dishes, making sure his own plate was clean before moving to help her wrangle the younger girl so she could clean her up. While she wiped Liz down, he wiped off the table area, since she had made a mess on there too.

Once everything was clean and Elara was free for a single nanosecond Liz came over and demanded to go outside to play, the woman hesitating before grabbing something warmer for her to wear, fastening it around the girl's shoulders as the pair went outside, a frost having fallen the night before, dusting everything in a translucent pale white dust.

Sage chuckled softly when Liz grabbed elaras hand, urging her to go play. Since Elara seemed to be ok with it, sage moved to tug something warmer over his own shoulders and grab the buckets they got their water from, moving to bring them down to the river and collect it. There was a thin layer of ice over it, which made him realize that once the water froze over completely with thicker ice, they'd have to figure a different water source out. That, or try to keep the river from freezing in a patch they could use.

Liz fell, sprawled out in shock as Elara simply let her, not walking to help her up. The girl stood, shaky at first before walking over to the woman, who sighed as she realized the little one was about to start cryin- "I got a cool splinter," Liz simply mused, Elara just nodding before showing her how to remove it.

Sage didn't take too long to fill the waters up, but he moved to make a sort of hole with some rocks and other things, to form a spot the would hopefully not freeze over so quickly, since it was moving through the path and creating a faster current in that small area. Once that was done, he just grabbed the buckets of water and moved to the cabin again, setting them by the fire inside so it wouldn't be quite so close to ice.

Liz eventually started tugging on Elara's sleeve to go back inside, claiming it had gotten too cold for her even after she'd dragged the woman out. The girl bounded inside, Elara just glad to be back near Sage---or uh, I mean to be inside. Yeah. Yup. Anyway- Liz went and curled up by the fire, dragging a blanket down before rolling up in it, surprisingly tired after the (maybe) thirty minutes outside. Elara waited until she was sound asleep, walking back over to Sage. "So, when are we raiding the castle? And also, who else is coming? If you know others who are trustworthy enough to come, that is. Only person I know is Dorian."

Sage had sighed in response to elaras comment, just thinking about her questions. "I normally do jobs alone," he admitted. "I don't have anyone else. The goal will have to be to get in and out quickly and quietly," he added. As for timing, he wasn't sure. "I don't want to do it in the snow....so either before or after that," he mused.

She nodded, though felt somewhat bad when he noted he didn't have anybody else. "Nate's already been giving me information everytime we meet, there's an entire resistance already banded together there. Nobles, council members---but to be fair, everybody in the council just wants to rip my father's head off, which...makes sense---And also numerous guards, though I feel I only 100% trust Nate."

Sage paused briefly, thinking it over with a sigh before nodding. "If he trusts them, then we could use the help," he noted. "Plus we'll need to reform a council and all the rest one the bad guys are gone," he noted running a hand through his hair in thought.

-And i'll have to learn how to put on a show for them and the entire kingdom, again.- She thought silently, nodding at Sage's words. "I was hoping you'd say that, the current council is so infuriating that at one meeting they pissed Nate off so much---and mind you, he has the patience of a saint---that he flipped the table over and threatened to kill all of them." Elara chuckled, remembering her brother's face. "He had to be dragged out from that one." After a moment she reeled the conversation back in, face suddenly going serious once more. "I'll contact Nate and....somehow get through to the resistance, we could use their help."
