Sage wheezed and nodded, waving his hands to shoo Luther back down the tunnel. He jogged after the guy, still chuckling as he went along. Eventually they stopped and sage sat down, trying to catch his breath from laughing too hard. "Gosh, Luther, you're lethal enough just making me laugh, forget killing people all ys gotta do is get them to laugh at something and they won't be able to breathe," he joked, holding his side ... laughing so hard had made his stomach muscles hurt a bit, but in a good way he supposed. Once he'd caught his breath, he thought for a while. "Anya was looking for you earlier...maybe we should get you to her, I'm sure she'd confused as to where you went." His face hurt too...he hadn't laughed or really genuinely smiled so hard for so long in a very long time, if not ever.

Luther shook his head slightly, his face tinged red from running and also a bit from laughing. He liked Anya, really, but she'd just get curious as to where they had gotten to. And quite frankly, he didn't want her questioning what they had been up to. "I'd rather not. If she wants me she'll come get me, if not then i'll go find her tomorrow." He shrugged slightly. He supposed she'd want to talk to him about this whole rebellion thing, but he was having fun, and that whole thing would dim that down. He could talk to her tomorrow... or whenever they ran into each other. If she needed comforting, he'd do that, just not right now.

Sage shrugged. "Fine with me. But now I kinda want to know what her mom was doing in a room alone with one other person. I wanna know what they're talking about." It was a sudden thought....he didn't really know where it came from, but eavesdropping on the queen could be fun. Plus, she was most likely talking about the rebellion, and there was no way she'd tell him if he asked, and he wanted to know what was going on. He could ask Anya, he supposed, but she really didn't want to talk about it, and her mother could be hiding facts from her daughter....more serious ones. This was the best way to figure out what was what. Except, of course, getting out there and hearing both sides of the story.

Luther cocked his head slightly, wiping his head with his arm for a moment. "She's a person, it's not uncommon for her to talk to people, you know." It was a little odd though, he could admit that. Especially after hearing about this whole rebellion thing. If she was going to be talking things over with anyone it'd probably be her husband, the king. But that wasn't him in the room with her - he wouldn't be able to shift out of there so fast. It might have been a knight, or maybe one of the commanding guards, he supposed. She might have been giving out orders surrounding training and defenses... though, that didn't seem too likely. "I suppose we could eavesdrop for a bit." He murmured slightly as he looked about the hallways.

Sage grunted and nodded. "If she's discussing the rebellion, I want to know all the facts. I doubt she'll tell even Anya everything, especially when she's already so upset about it." He stood up and crept back to the room, sitting down and listening to what he could hear. So far, he wasn't impressed with the battle plans he was hearing and he threw Luther a confused look. "Is this usually how you fight people," he asked him then remembered they could hear them and he should talk quieter. "They're going to get butchered if they fight the rebels like that," he hissed, this time a bit quieter than before, though still pretty loud. The queen could probably hear them, but at this point he didn't really care, because their plans sucked and if he didn't tell them how real fighting worked, they'd all die. He wouldn't care, except for Anya and Luther being at risk.

Luther shrugged slightly. "Alright, but if we get caught then this time it's gonna be on you." He joked lightly before sitting outside the door, fiddling with his hands as Sage listened in. He wasn't sure why he couldn't talk to the queen about it. She didn't like the boy, sure, but that just meant he wouldn't care about scaring him. Surely that meant she would tell him everything? She wasn't polite to people she disliked, but she would be fine with Sage. She didn't get a choice. Anya would give her an earful if Sage went back to her with a word or two from her mother. Luther heard the boy speak again before raising a brow. "It's not my kingdom, I wouldn't know. But from what I've seen from their practices, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case." He murmured, an understanding tone in his voice. If it was his kingdom, with his troops, then he'd probably be a little more defensive about it. But there was nothing they could do for the time being. They were going to get destroyed, he knew about it, but there was nothing he could say or do to fix it for the time being. "What're they saying?"

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "that's fair." When Luther asked what they were talking about he huffed out a breath. "They're making defense and battle plans," he grumbled. "And they're not going to work at all. Everyone's gonna die, they rebels will storm the castle, take the women, kill the guys, and all the rest." His voice was rising now and he made a face as he continued to listen. "this is rediculous I'm not sitting here any longer," he finally muttered before standing up and kicking the secret passageway door open. The queen was indeed making battle plans with the man who'd been training the guards earlier. Sage stood there with crossed arms as the door opened, fully intending on lecturing the two adults. Luther was probably surprised, but hey, so we're the adults. But he didn't really care at this point he was just annoyed at their fighting methods.

Luther looked to Sage when he saw movement, his eyes widening as he scrambled to grab him, to stop him, though he was a moment or so too late. They kind of stood there for a couple of seconds before Luther withdrew and hid behind the wall again, looking to Sage to let him know that he was on his own. The queen and the commanding guard just kind of stared at him for a while, their faces both cold as stone. Quite clearly unamused by their earlier actions. It wasn't hard to tell that it was the two boys trying to scare them - not after their little fit of giggles. The queen cleared her throat slightly, leaning forward on a small round table. "What do you want?" She murmured, shaking her head slightly. It was clear she was trying to keep her tone down, not to shout at him... although, he probably deserved it, considering he had just stormed through the passages of the castle to scare them, opened up a purposely sealed door, and intruded on a conversation, most likely an important one... it was safe to say she was doing a good job of keeping her voice down.

Sage gave Luther a look when he hid behind the wall again, but at least he stayed. Though, if sage thought the queen was actually going to hurt him or something he'd be much less willing to storm into their conversation. He gave the queen a look and then huffed a breath of air through his nose. "It's not what I want, it's what you want," he muttered. He pointed at the map on the table. "Your plans suck. In case you haven't noticed, these rebels don't exactly fight like you're knights. If you go in the way you're both planning on, your knights are going to die and the castle is going to be stormed." He didn't know how the queen would respond....he highly doubted anyone had ever told her that her plans sucked. But it was true, and if she was being stubborn about it, that wouldn't make a very good leader. No, considering he was from the streets, she'd be wise to listen to him. She just had to accept he wasn't dumb just because he hadn't had much of an education.

The queen looked to the guard for a moment, furrowing her brows before taking a breath. To calm herself. Who was this kid, really? Telling her what was and wasn't going to work? He was some boy they'd dragged out a cell, and only because her daughter had practically begged for it. And now he was brave enough to storm in like this. Great. She supposed this was what happened when you gave too much to someone who deserved... well, nothing. She would have yelled at him, and told him to leave, but Anya's voice was ringing in the back of her head. How upset she sounded. She still couldn't understand why she liked him so much, but she wasn't going to question it. "Right." Was all she could come out with before gesturing towards the table. "Why don't you show us how you'd do it?" She didn't trust the boy, not one bit, but if he wanted to help, and she assumed he would considering he was friends with the other teens in the castle, then he might want to help out a little. To look after his friends.
