Sage giggled like a crazy little girl and slid the dagger out from where he normally kept it hidden. He scraped it along the wall, which he knew would scare the workers....it had worked in the past. And no two sounds were the same... different spots of the wall and dagger, different angles of the blade, and pressure all changed it up, so it was something new pretty much every time. Plus, he'd never been caught, though with Luther huffing in the back that might happen this time. But they'd both get in trouble so they, worth it to drag him along. "Would you rather me have called you a water buffalo? Because it's completely feasible," he teased lightly before immitating Luther's wheezing with a funny face, all the while making scary sounds with the knife.

Luther wrinkled his face up and punched his shoulder in a friendly way. "Yes, actually. My inner beast... it's a water buffalo, I can feel it!" He joked, rolling his eyes slightly. He snickered when Sage started scraping his knife along the wall, a big grin on his face. He peered back through the little gap, watching as a couple of the servants turned in the direction. "Can you hear that?" One of them called, glancing back towards the other. "Probably just rats. Get back to work, we need to get this done by tonight." The other murmured, though it was clear they were both a little unsettled. Luther ran his hand up the wall, making scratching noises with his nails before glancing back towards Sage. "Louder, Sage. They're getting nervous, and I wanna see them run off." He giggled girlishly, looking back through the gap again as one of them got back to work, while the other was still looking around timidly. Sage snorted, amused at Luther's joking about. "Ah yes, King Luther the Water Buffalo Man," he snickered. "Sounds very mighty and powerful. You won't ever have to deal with a war because they'll all cover at the fearsome threat of you breathing heavily on them," he laughed, enjoying joking around with the guy. He huffed in annoyance when the one servant went back to work. "Well I wanted them to get slowly freaked out but I doubt that'll happen to them both," he muttered. He started walking along the wall to the girl still working, making the noise come closer and closer to her face. When he got there, she was looking at the wall, definitely nervous, so sage made things go quiet until she relaxed slightly then banged the hilt of his dagger against the wall, while scraping with his fingernails and screaming like he had been stabbed horribly or something, which made both of the servants in the room scream and bolt. So, it may have been a bit childish and pretty darn onery of the two boys, but man was it fun. Sage didn't remember the last time he'd laughed like this.

Luther covered his mouth a little as he watched the two of them drop everything and haul ass out the door, screaming bloody murder as they went. A small laugh erupted from behind his hand before slowly getting louder as he laughed on. He cackled for a few moments before bending over slightly, in an attempt to calm himself. He wasn't trying to get them caught. He took a breath for a moment, trying to think of a time he had genuinely laughed so much. "Come on... I want to see if we can freak Anya's mother out. I'd pay a dime to see that woman run that fast." He giggled brightly before wandering up the little passage carefully. He did wonder a little. How in the world could someone like Sage, who had just told him all about his life, and how, well, miserable things were still come up with ways to get on with things and have fun? It seemed a little strange, but he wasn't complaining. He'd never gotten to mess with people like this, scaring them. It'd be more fun if they could freak one person out slowly as Sage said, but Luther wanted to see just how many different reactions they'd get from this, to go around as many people as possible.

Sage grinned widely and nodded. "Heck yeah," he cackled. "Let's go scare the lady who like to be the one doing the scaring." He didn't like Anyas mother, so scaring her would be hilarious, if they could manage to do so...she surely knew everything about the castle, including the secret passageways and how they worked. But it would be totally worth it if they could freak her out or unnerve the lady, at least a little bit. They couldn't make noises from their own mouths that sounded like them though, or they'd get caught for sure. "If we get caught I'm blaming you though," he chuckled, lightly teasing luther. He would take full blame for anything really, which is why it was a joke. Luther may have to help him calm down if the queen yelled at them though.

Luther nodded slightly with a giggle before running off down the passageway. If he'd known these were here, he'd have done this before. He might have even taken Anya along to give her a laugh. She probably wouldn't approve of them messing with her mother. They'd probably be shouted at. "You can blame me," he noted jokingly, "You could say that I peer pressured you into running around the castle like an idiot." He chuckled before slowing his run down to a jog. There weren't any gaps that he could see... but he could hear the queen's voice. Slow and firm. It sounded like she was talking to someone else. Oh well, it'd be more fun with a few of the royals turning tail out of here. He grinned widely and looked over to Sage, tilting his head towards the wall to indicate they were there. He slowly started walking his fingers up the wall, making sure it was loud enough to hear. He'd start slow, then they could add more, like the knife and what not... freak the queen out.

Sage snickered and put his hand over his mouth to quiet his laughter. "I could, though I doubt they'd believe me, given the fact that I run around the halls like an idiot ninety nine percent of the time." He watched Luther start tapping along the walls, biting his lip in order not to start laughing at the fact that they were pranking the queen. He never would have guess they would be doing that.... though, he never would have guessed he'd be living in a castle either, and that had happened twice now. Granted, both times were because he was dying, but he supposed he could deal with that. As of right then, he just wanted to freak the queen out.

Luther grinned as he heard the voices quieten down, presumably because they'd heard him tapping on the wall. Then, when one of them mentioned it was probably just rats or something that had gotten in, he got a little louder. Actually, every time they said a word he got louder then quietened down. When one of them got brave and walked over, he went dead silent, glancing over at Sage, telling him to make a racket when he gave the word. "Ready?" He whispered before turning back to the wall, silently counting down the seconds before gently walking his fingers up the wall, making soft taps before letting out a huge yell, screaming much like a little girl would, his nails scraping up and down the wall, with one of his knees smashing into it for effect. He kept on at that for about four second before he heard another scream, a much more womanly one along with a mans. Luther kept on going like for roughly a minute, before letting up with the biggest laugh.

Sage made noises too, which he had to admit were much scarier than Luther's random yells, though the guy wasn't bad at this. He broke off laugh when Luther lost it though, and they just laughed for a while, probably harder than he'd ever laughed before. It was nice to have a guy about his age to do something like this with...he'd never gotten to just have fun before. It was nice. Though, they could probably hear them laughing, so they were kinda screwed by now. Oh well, it had been totally worth it, and sage regretted absolutely nothing about what the two of them had done.

Luther covered his mouth, trying to cover up his laughs. Though, he wasn't doing amazingly. Brutish snickers still filled the small space, and he could admit it was a little.. uncalled for. But when you hadn't laughed like this for so long, then why not let it all out? He might not get this again for a little while. Though them laughing so loud, it was likely to be cause for suspicion... and he assumed his future mother in law was likely to figure them out once she had finished screaming like a banshee... well, her and whoever she was talking to. He sort of hoped it wasn't anyone or about anything important. After a little while, he let his smile face and looked to Sage with wide eyes. "What if there's still someone in there?" He noted, his smile coming back a little. "We should probably get out of here," he noted with a laugh.
