Sage chuckled softly when she spoke up again, throwing her a slightly amused glance when she mentioned him. "I'm glad you think so," he noted with a grin. "You're not too shabby yourself," he added, nudging her gently. As she mentioned dliz though he chuckled and glanced over at the younger girl. "I'm certainly not complaining," he noted. He loved her, a lot, but getting to just relax in the morning was ...quite nice.

-'Not too shabby'? Really? Thanks a lot.- She thought, opening her mouth to say something before cutting off, Liz shifting in her sleep. Elara stayed silent, the girl stilling once more. "Was scared for a moment i'd wake her up."

Sage chuckled softly when she went quiet, shaking his head in amusement. "Hopefully she'll stay down a bit longer," he murmured. "I like it when we have some time just the two of us," he admitted, though he kept his voice quiet. He loved Liz and the time he had with her, of course, but this was nice too.

Elara chuckled softly, smiling warmly as she curled back into Sage's side, drawing shapes on his chest with her finger. "Me too, don't have to worry about anything---only thing to worry about is how much longer we have." She noted, glancing at Liz.

Sage shifted to wrap an arm around her as she curled back into his side, humming softly in agreement. "When she does wake she'll have enough energy to wear us both down though," he noted with a chuckle. Then, after a moment, " I'm glad we met ...even if it was a bad situation at first," he murmured, tightening his grip on her slightly.

"Me too, that first night I thought I was going to behead you the first chance I got." She mused with a chuckle, shaking her head lightly. "Y'know, that necklace you stole was my favorite, yet I didn't say anything because I wanted you to stay longer, there was....something about you."

Sage winced softly, though mostly in play. Ouch," he noted with a chuckle. "Then why on earth did you pick me to protect you instead of noticing me and having me drug off somewhere," he mused, mostly just teasing her. Though, he gave her a quizitive look when she mentioned she wanted him to stay. "Do you normally find yourself attracted to thieves who come into your room in the middle of the night," he asked, still teasing her a bit.

She shrugged, grinning. "If I did you'd most likely be dead," She paused for a moment, thinking. "I never did punish those who broke in or betrayed me, usually gave them all second chances." Elara mused, chuckling at his last comment. "Not usually, but the handsome one? Absolutely."

|
Sage just shook his head with a soft hum when she mentioned giving people second chances. "You're nicer than most people, then," he noted. He was thinking about how that all worked out, but then she'd spoken up again and he couldn't help but laugh. "I think you're biased," he teased gently. "But I suppose I'll take the compliment," he added with a grin and moving to peck her head lightly.

Elara looked up at him, smiling softly as she shook her head lightly, sighing quietly. "Guess I was, ran in me and my siblings. Not sure who we all got it from," She noted, giving him the look when he called her biased.
