The doctor took a few tests and wrote things down. "You have a cold" she tells them. "I'll prescribe some medicine, and keep on checking her temperature. If it gets higher than 101, call the hospital" Elijah nods, thanking her

Elijah replaces the towel once it warms up

Dakota heard Ethan crying, but was too weak to get up. She whimpered in pain

Elijah gets up, taking Ethan from the crib. He gently rocks him as he walked out. "Rest love, I got him" he says, staying a little bit away to keep Ethan from catching the cold too

Dakota didn't respond, darkness overcoming her vision as she closed her eyes and tried to do as Elijah had suggested

Elijah was concerned, but knew he couldn't do anything to help her.
