Rosa sat down next to him, taking her fork and digging into her food

"So,uh,my father is...coming back." He stuttered out. "You can stay or you can go,your desiscion." Caden says,looking in her eyes with a slightly winced look.

Rosa shook her head, "I'm staying"

"If he does something stupid and tries to kill me again,your leaving.That's final.If he does something like that,i'd rather you not be here when it goes from good to,eh,bad." He says,looking at her.A flash of this in his eye.

Rosa shakes her head, "I refuse to let him hurt you again"

"And I refuse for you to be dead." He snapped,scooting back from the table and walking inside.He scraped his plate clean and went out the front door,walking to the barn.All Caden needed was Ricochet,and thats all that he focused on.

Rosa sighs, not wanting to argue with him, but she refuses to let her father continue to beat him up like this

Caden stormed into the stable and went into Rico's stall,sitting in the shavings.The stallion laid his head on Caden's legs,demanding attention. "What do I do buddy?What do I do..."

Rosa sighs, picking Spud up, who was calmer now

Caden slumped forward as he fell asleep,Ricochet falling asleep aswell
