Sage chuckled. Yet. It was an ironic word choice, and quite honestly something that wasn't past him, especially as annoying as the current king was. "I don't think Anya would let me go alone, she'd want to come with. And after what happened last time she snuck out to find me, I highly doubt her mother would allow her to leave castle grounds, especially if it's because I'm bored." He shrugged, continuing to absentmindedly play with the knife in his hand. "Besides, no one else likes me so I can't just walk up to someone and ask them. And no way am I talking to either of Anyas parents unless I absolutely have to." He really didn't like them, and didn't want to get mad and kill them

Luther shook his head slightly before standing up, a light smile on his face. "Well, don't ask then. Just say you're leaving. I mean, you're gonna go at some point right? It doesn't matter if people like you or not, just make sure someone knows that you're gone." He murmured lightly, picking up his now empty basket. He let his gaze soften slightly. If he was really nervous about hurting anyone when he went out to visit his sisters grave, then why go? If he didn't think he was ready, then surely he could say. It sounded like it was still pretty fresh for the boy. "Look, if you're really concerned about hurting Anya when you go out, then just don't go. Not until you're ready. Or just say that you'd like to be alone. If she really cared, then she'd leave you be." He noted with a slight chuckle.

Sage sighed and shrugged. "I know. The issue is that I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about it. I mean...in the past, people have died and it's just life. I didn't love my parents, they didn't love me, and then mom died and I shrugged it off. Lizzie was different. She was the whole reason I kept myself alive for so long. Then suddenly she's gone and I don't know what to think or do. I'm kinda trusting Anya with this one." He shrugged and squinted over at Luther. "Why'd you decide to come outside to eat anyway," he asked, suddenly getting the thought. "I mean...it's kinda cold " he himself was getting a bit chilly, having just ran around and then sitting down suddenly. He was used to the cold, and was wearing a thicker shirt than what he'd had before he came to the castle, but it was still cold out. Though, Luther had much more body fat than he did, so maybe the guy was just stout enough to not get cold as easily as sage did.

(We could have the two boys go inside and they both awkwardly stumble into the meeting to figure stuff out about the rebellion to get things moving a bit if you'd like lol)

Luther hummed in thought as he swung the basket over his shoulder. "I was hiding... from our lovely princes... she doesn't really like it when I eat before dinner. Like at all. Snacking is a no-no. And I don't really feel the cold too much. I'm built enough, I suppose." It was odd, especially considering Luther had definitely seen the girl snacking herself. And it was nowhere near dinner, but he wasn't risking being yelled at like that, not by Anya. He offered Sage a hand to help him up, cocking his head slightly towards the castle. "Come on. You can't be warm, and we should be safe from a raging Anya by now. I bet the fires are lit, so we can warm up and go cause some trouble," he noted with a childish giggle. His idea of trouble... well, it wasn't exactly 'trouble'. It was more like causing slight inconveniences to people who couldn't do anything about it... it was pathetic, really, but he still got fun out of it.

Sage took his hand with a snort. "She snacks," he mutters, though he most definitely was not going to argue with Anya about something like that. Or, we'll, anything really. He wasn't willing to argue about much with the girl...she could, admittedly, be scary and also pretty convincing. He gave Luther a grin after a moment of thinking and punched his shoulder lightly in a friendly manner. "Let's go annoy people then," he chirped, looking forward to pranking someone from the castle.

Luther nodded and wandered towards the doors again. "Who'd you wanna mess with?" He asked brightly, looking around as they wandered into the halls. He didn't think he was cold... but the warm air of the castle hit him hard, making goosebumps run up his arms. He couldn't say he didn't like it, though. He must have been right, all the castle fire pits had been lit at some point. "I bet some of the maids will be setting up the lounges... or maybe the servants will be cleaning up the throne room..." He trailed off a little, realizing how bad he was at this whole 'messing with people' thing. He'd never really done with anyone else before... maybe Sage's take on this whole thing would be a bit better than whatever he had planned.

Sage thought for a minute before a smile spread across his face. "We can make noises from inside the walls and scare the crap outta people," he cackled. He'd found passageways behind the walls his first day he could explore the castle after getting there...they were probably meant to be secret, but he'd found them anyway. He didn't know if Luther knew about them, but if he didn't he'd find out, and he'd need to know eventually so why not now. "Come on," he yelled back at Luther as he sprinted off down the hallways leading to the place he wanted to go to. Certain ones were better for scaring people than others were...snickers wouldn't be heard, only the louder noises. Some were completely sound proof, only hitting the walls or scraping nails against the inside would make the noise. He wondered if Luther was fast enough to keep up with him...he was fast, and definitely lighter than the boy, so he slowed slightly and glanced back over his shoulder.

Luther looked a little confused when Sage ran off ahead of him, just kind of standing there for a moment before letting out a childish snicker and running along after him, as fast as he could go... Luther definitely wasn't made to athletics. Broad shoulders and sculpted shoulders indicated he was built and trained for battle...which he was. Though, he was quick enough to stay a few meters behind Sage, though his steps were heavy and labored. You'd hear him coming from a mile away. He couldn't help but snicker, though. It was strange like had converted into a little boy again. It'd be an odd sight to whoever saw them... they were pretty intimidating-looking guys, both in very different ways and yet they were running around like actual children. "Where are we going?" He asked with a small laugh, his breath a little choppy as they ran along. He knew there were little hidy spots in the castle... but only because he had been forced into playing hide and seek with Anya when they were younger. He assumed there were more, but he never really bothered to find them.

Sage glanced back over at Luther and grinned, partly because the guy was struggling to keep the pace up and partially because he was excited to prank people. "A secret passageway to scare people," he giggled like a little girl, slowing down so he was a bit closet to Luther, who by now was huffing and puffing like the bug bad wolf. Wait, did that make Sage the pig? The thought was amusing, but he ignored it after a moment as he suddenly skidded to a stop and slid into the secret passageway. "Now be quiet, they can still hear us." He eyed Luther up and down. "Maybe we should sit for a minute so they don't think a horse with breathing issues got loose in the walls." It was mostly a joke, though Luther was pretty loud.

Luther gasped for a moment, partly because he was out of breath, and partly because of Sages insulting teasing. "I'm breathing just fine! Now keep moving before I blow you over." he huffed in response before poking Sage's back to keep moving. If he was being totally honest... this little passage was kind of scaring him. The dark, the spiders, and if they weren't about to mess with some of the workers and residents of the castle, then he'd be out of there. As they shifted along, he could see through a couple of spaces where air vents were placed. He paused when he could see into the throne room, where the biggest grin fell onto his face. "Hey, look," he murmured, pointing out towards the little gap. There were people taking decorations down from the day before... it'd be fun to mess with them hopefully, scare them into dropping everything and running off if they could manage.
