Charlotte was up and ready, waiting at the door. She walked out and walked down with Jaden. "One car or two?" She questioned, rubbing her neck where he had kissed her previously, even though she was asleep.

"Two, I gotta take a whole lotta stuff." He explained, heading out to his car and getting out at the track.

|
"Ok." She started the truck, the engine rumbling softly. She helped jaden load some stuff into her truck as she drove out, following him to the derby stalls where Loki was waiting eagerly for them.

15 horses were entered in this race, Loki being number 3 in the lineup. Jaden hopped up, his white and blue silks matching the blue and white of his bridle. The man walked him over to the track, breezing him down it before coming to the gate. Loki walked in like a champ, tossing his head as he became eager to launch out of the shoot and race. Jaden prepared himself, waiting for the bell. The gates flew open.

Charlotte sat in the stands, eagerly watching. She watched Loki flip his head up and take off as the bell rang. The 15 horses instantly started kicking up mud and dirt, flying by around the track. She cheered Jaden on as a little old lady questioned her wether he was her boyfriend. "Uhm.. I'm his stable hand?" The little lady sighed sarcastically and turned back around.

Loki placed 6th, making it on to the next round as the lowest placing five horses were eliminated. Jaden pat the colt's neck, walking him back down to the barn.

Charlotte darted away before the race was over, getting ready to meet him at the stables to quickly cool down Loki. "Hey. How'd it go? I didn't see the end." She mused, taking Loki and hugging Jaden, getting some dirt from his silks on her shirt.

He hugged her back, pecking her lips as he hopped off and unclipped his helmet. "Went pretty good, didn't run him as hard as he could but, still qualified for tommorow."

|
"Good. Some little old lady in the stands asked me if we were married or something, I can't remember." She mused. "Is there another derby today? You want me to hose him off?" She questioned, still staring at him.

|
"Go on ahead, done racing for today." He explained, getting whisked away by officials.
