Iris couldn't help smiling back. "Awesome. Do you wanna drive, or I can... Or we can just go in seperate cars but I don't like to drive when I don't have to. Y'know... Global warming and stuff." She knew it sounded stupid, but didn't really care, since she knew Caden didn't really care either.

"Yeah i'm alright with that, wanna take mine or yours?" He asked, curious though he was eager to get back to his Corvette. It was his favorite car, and even when he could drive anything cooler he'd rather drive the cherry red c8. Having discovered Chevy 3 years ago when he first moved from Russia, it was his favorite thing about America so far. The cars. From Corvettes to Camaros, Mustangs to Challengers, he loved them all. Though, Corvettes had always been his favorite.

Iris gave a shrug. "I don't care either way. But I did just drive mine and it tends to get mad when I drive it too much," she cracked a smile, then continued. "Plus, it's air conditioning isn't great... Y'know what, let's just go in yours," she decided, smile coming back.

"Was hoping you'd say that since I love driving mine," He mused with a grin, turning and leading the way to it.

(Sorry I didn't reply, we went away for the weekend and I didn't have time to respond) . Iris nodded and followed Caden to where his car was parked. When she saw it, she forced her jaw not to drop. Sure, she was expecting a car nicer than her old rickety thing but this? It was a little shocking. Welllll actually she wasn't that surprised it made sense that he or his family was rich, now that she thought about it. But it still shed some light on who Caden actually was.

He unlocked it, the lights flickering on as he slipped into the drivers seat. Caden waited until she got into the passenger side, driving off towards the nearest supermarket. Radio played softly in the background, the news interupting the music. Caden flicked it to another station, not wanting to listen to what nonsense was happening.

Iris tried her best to look casual as she slid into the passenger's seat, though inside she was feeling conflicted on whether she should act impressed or not. Iris never really listened to the radio; she had a few playlists of her own, but she only even used them when she needed to focus. They were very old, nostalgic songs, since she hadn't added or deleted any from them in a long time. Because of that, she didn't mind what Caden did with the radio, whether it be news or music. She was just trying her best to look normal and not like she was freaking out just a little.

Caden drummed a beat against the wheel with his fingertips, breaking at least 20 road laws as he made his way. He'd never been a safe driver, 10-20 over the speed limit was his daily speed while driving. The man had gotten many comments on his driving but oh well, he didn't mind too much.

Iris kind of just hid her face as he drove, waiting for the moment when either a cop would pull Caden over or they'd crash. She was the kind of driver who always went the speed limit and had been called 'timid' and 'cowardly' for her driving skills. But she was just trying to be safe. She knew that car crashes killed more than a million people a year and was just trying to do her part to keep people safe. Caden's driving was the exact opposite of hers, and she couldn't really do anything about it. It wasn't like she could ask him to drive normally and he would. The best thing she could do was hope that they'd make it to the store safely.

Caden pulled into the parking lot, turning off the engine and getting out. "What're you needing?" He asked, curious as he grabbed his wallet.
