Lorelei lit up, running off and changing into a hoodie and jean shorts before bouncing back over to him happily. "Lets go," she grabbed his arm and dragged him to the car.

Kai chuckled, opening the door for her and hopping in. He took her to the biggest bookstore within a ten-mile radius. "Knock yourself out" He said, smiling softly at her an dopening her door. He followed her along the lengths of the shelves, not grabbing anything for himself. "Find anything yet?" He asked

Lorelei ran inside, giggling like a schoolgirl. She went right off to the romance section, browsing through the shelves of romance and fantasy. An hour when he asked if she'd found anything, she turned to him with a pile of books in her arms up to her eyes and grinned sheepishly.

"Really?!" she giggled.

"You can get more if you'd like" he said, gesturing to a few she hadnt grabbed

Lorelei collects a few more books before stopping for today. She yawned and nodded, "Okay, I think thats good for now," she giggled.

Kai chuckled, leading her to the checkout counter and not blinking an eye as the numbers racked up. He handed over his car, smiling at the happy Lorelei. "Thank you" He said gently to the cashier, carrying the stack of books to his car. He opened Lorelei's door and got into the driver's seat. Before starting the car, he looked her.
