Sage watched the other male go, before sighing and slipping off. He had what he needed. He spent the rest of the night gathering what he needed to present to the law dude, whatever his name was, and by morning he had a solid stack of papers and evidence. Hopefully, it would be enough

Alleyah groaned as light flooded the cell. She watched Sage stalk in and she immediately perked up, sitting up in her bed and walking over to the bars of her cell. "Where were you?" She asked

Sages mind wasn't on the prisoners as he came in, since his mind was whirling. Allys voice caught his attention though and he paused in front of her cell. "Watching Marc," he noted quietly. "We have what we need. I'll try to get a court date tonight," he added. He wasn't sure it would come if anything....but he had solid evidence, so he hoped it would be enough. She didn't deserve this. And Marc needed help....needed to be contained.

"Wait you found him?" Her eyes were wide with surprise and confusion. "How'd you do that?" She gripped the cell bars, her knuckles white. "D-does he look the same? Did you talk to him? Wha did he do?" The questions fell from he mouth before she could clamp it closed, her thoughts spilling into words. She hadn't seen Marc in two years and she felt like he should have changed.

Sage nodded with a sigh. "I didn't talk to him. Just followed him." His brows furrowed slightly. "He visited her grave," he added softly. "He's pretty upset about what happened," he added gently. "I'd like to try and get him into an institution. Help him manage his emotions so this doesn't happen again," he suggested carefully, not knowing how she might react. "You'd still get out of here, and he'd still be....contained. "

Alleyah stared at him in shock. "R-really?" She looked down at her feet, her face suddenly sad. "Did you see her grave?" Memories of Destiny floated through her mind. Allys eyes drifted to anywhere but the chalk drawing of her friend. "I ran out of chalk earlier" she mumbled, gesturing over to the wall with her snowy scene on it.

Sage nodded slowly, frowning slightly. "It sounded like it was an accident. He was going to go back and help her, and got stuck somewhere," he noted softly. When she mentioned the chalk he nodded. "I can get more," he noted. "But hopefully you'll be out of there soon."

Ally looked down. She knew the truth. Marc had hung Destiny when she had suddenly disappeared. Alleyah squeezed her eyes shut, unable to stomach the thought of her friend hanging from a tree. "Hopefully, but I'm still bored" she mumbled. She looked up at Sage, her features softened slightly.

Sage offered her a small smile and a nod. "I'll see what I can do," he noted. "Hang in there. I'll try to get a court date as soon as possible," he added, moving towarda the office and settle down for his shift. He could get some paperwork done while he was there, but a lot of it had to be done when he wasn't working, unfortunately.

Ally blushed slightly when he smiled at her, but she quickly looked away so he didn't see. She played with the dirt on the ground, her mind spinning. What if they didn't believe him? What if they sent her back?
