Zephyr snorted. "Not what I meant- it's a little higher than waist height for you, and I guess I haven't seen much but that seems low. Doesn't matter, though." He commented before keeping his arms in the position directed. "I won't smack you! I only smack the people I'm mad at." He joked with a grin, slowly going through the motion once and paying attention to how it felt, then swinging for real, using mainly his wrists to direct the bat exactly where he wanted it to go. In his opinion it wasn't a half bad swing, but he still looked like a beheaded chicken flopping around compared to Sophia.

"That was great! Now I'm going to toss the ball. Doesn't matter if it hits or not at this point. Let's do a slow- very slow- swing as the ball comes up. "Sophia moved the ball close to the bat. "When it gets here-" she grabbed the end of the bat and hit it against the ball. "That's when you want to hit it. "

Zephyr raised his eyebrows slightly. "Surprising, but okay." He answered before a look of concentration came over his face as he listened and studied exactly where the ball should hit. "I can probably do that." He answered with a small smile, his dark blue eyes scanning the bat like he was memorizing it before he got into the position he had been instructed to go into.

"Ok. So do you want me to toss it for you? Think you can actually hit it?" Sophia grinned up at him before stepping back. "Ready whenever you are"

Zephyr rolled his eyes before smirking. "Watch me." He stated confidently, though he was quite sure he'd miss and smack himself in the back. When Sophia tossed the ball (assuming she didn't just stand there for all of eternity XD) Zephyr waited a split second before swinging the bat forward in a nice arch, and the crack he heard was quite pleasing. The ball didn't soar too far, but it flew. "Score!"

"Great job! First try!" Sophia chuckled before jumping up and running to the ball. She picked it up and tossed it in the air, catching it bare handed. It didn't hurt because she had mastered the ability to do it. She could throw it up to ten feet into the air and catch it with her glove, butt he most she could do with out the glove was about six feet.

Zephyr grinned before stretching his arm out. "Well thanks for the help. I deeefinitely need to practice more, but for now I'd better be getting home before my Father drives up and starts telling me I should have been home earlier." He joked slightly before putting the bat away with the others. "So I'll see you tomorrow!" Zeph added with a slight wave before walking off the field.

Sophia smiled "ok. Bye!" She grabbed her bag and practically ran to her car. "Three days" she murmered before driving to a place to buy a dress. She fell in love with one and tried it on. "Love it" she said to the lady at the counter as she paid them drove home

Zephyr didn't drive straight home, instead going in a parking lot and sitting there as he tried to convince himself that a suit like thing was neccesary for prom. (Agh, what do high-school boys even where to prom?? XD) He finally let out a small groan, went in and got a nice looking thing, then drove home. The next day he awoke with a wide yawn, going to the mirror. It had completely faded into a scar. He ran a hand through his hair and got dressed before going to school.

Sometimes they wear a suit but most of them wear a dress shirt and tuck it into their dress pants and a tie)) (also. We need to present this is Thursday lol cause we've been going to school on the weekends. Basketball is Friday. Prom is the Saturday. Softball that Monday. ) - Sophia was up bright and early. She decided to add a bit of curl to her hair and it actually turned out beautiful. She pulled it into a half up and let the bottom curls do their own thing just like the top ones. Sophia drove to school. Maybe she could see Zephyr before class
