As someone who doesn't get to be around horses much I always look for some context in the comments for horsey people to explain a video that was put in a bad light. I also get to learn more about things that way aswell.

I've seen that and don't agree with it at all. Hate the bloody internet trainers. Wasn't there one going about a couple months ago talking about her 36 Olympic horses ro something like that?

It also doesn't help that, with the small snippets where a horse could've bucked or reared due to an unknown reason or god forbid a teenage is riding a pony that any equestrian familiar with size and weight for a horse would recognize, some "online trainer" somewhere feels the need to bash the rider because the horse is" in pain" or "is green and needs more handling before being ridden under saddle." It sickens me going through comments on videos. Especially when non-equestrians pop in...

Sage sort of chuckled along with her comment about his sister, and then gave her a crooked grin when she spoke up again about the blinds. "Try not to fall and die," he teased lightly, though he sort of was nervous....he wasn't sure if it was because he didn't exactly want to see her hurt or if it was because if she got hurt he wasn't sure what her father would do to him, but he supposed it should be more of the later. Yes, that was it. He didn't care that much about her, did he? No, he couldn't do that. He could talk, but he couldn't get attached. He was only helping her now because she was doing something he'd asked her to do. He sort of followed her around while thinking, helping balance her when he could or when she needed it. Soon enough though, the blinds were up in just enough time to block out the last few bits of sunset light. It worked well...most of the pool was shaded now, but there was still a few sunny areas at one end, which would be nice. He did enjoy some sun here and there, after all.

Oliver let out a soft snort at the sirens tease as she grabbed the next blind "Trust me, that's the last thing I would want to do." She half joked as she made her way back to the edge of the pool. It really was more of a truth than a joke as she didn't want to fall. Oliver made her way across the ledge with a little bit of wobbley balance, this part was the part that got her nervous of putting up the blinds but when she caught a small glimpse of Sage, who was following her, she relaxed slightly. Admittedly she found a little bit of comfort knowing the siren was right there, helping her here and there when she needed it. Eventually after she repeated the process 3 more times of hanging up the blinds, she made her way back to the platform... the safe ground as she wanted to call it as it felt like that after being on the small ledge for awhile. Oliver looked at the blinds as it blocked the small amount of light that was left. She was pleased to see that they worked decently well as there was a few spots that had sunlight peeking through, which should be fine... At least she hoped it would be fine. She then turned her attention to Sage wondering if he was fine with how the blinds worked.

Sage had let the girl wander back over to where she had her balance before not following quite so closely. He was pretty satisfied with how everything had gone, and he gave her a toothy grin in rather shy thanks before moving back down under the water again to curl back up in his corner. It was rather late by then....well, late enough for him to want some rest and quiet. Not that he'd done much, but still. Soon enough, though, the girl wandered away, and soon enough, he drifted off to sleep. He woke the next morning to the people busling around and working to get all the stuff for the pool into the warehouse and ready. He would've been an oyed if it wasn't for him.

Oliver smiled back slightly in return seeing his toothy grin -He must like it- She mused in thought, slightly happy that she had pleased him but she wans't going to admit that out loud. As he dove back under she looked at the time, it was late and she would have to be doing a ton in the morning. So she made her way down the stairs and out of the warehouse, headed him. Once at home she got changed and laid down in bed exhausted from the day. Oliver quickly fell asleep just to be up bright and early in the morning. She got changed quickly and made her way back out the warehouse, gatherien the workers that were there and started barking commands so that Sages tank could be doen as quickly as possible.

Sage eventually resumed his lazy laps around the pool, watching what the workers were doing. He noticed Oliver stop by after a bit, and eventually moved to sort of just drift in the far corner of the pool from the nets, just watching. Soon enough they made the move to start draining the current water and catch him in the net. He didn't like being caught up in nets, but they were fixing his pool, and he would like laying on the concrete floor while they tossed sand on him even less. So, he didn't put up a fuss as they wrapped him up and then dumped him on the floor besides the pool. He let out an annoyed chatter when they dropped him from rather high up, but soon enough rolled over to watch them with a bit of curiosity.

Oliver ordered aroudn the workers for a bit, makign sure all the sand and waters tank had gotten put in the right place so that they were ready. Then she headed upstairs to the pool, she stopped by checking on Sage before moving to the workers that were getting the pumps and net all set up. After checking she then gave the workers permission to start draining the pool, which was draining into a huge water truck. Then she ordered another set of men to get the nets and get Sage out of the pool. Oliver watched the men carefully as they threw the nets in ,catching him then lifting him up out of the pool. She really didn't want the siren to get hurt for multiple different reasons, one she didn't want the scaring on him as it would look bad. Secondly...a small part of her just didn't want to see him hurt but not because she cared about him.. It surely was for another reason. Then she heard a huge thud and an annoyed chatter, seeing that Sage had gotten dropped higher than normal "Hey, watch what your doing!" She scolded the men before moving to the edge of the railing, she motioned for a few workers to start bringing up the sand bags as the pool would be drained anytime soon and they could start dumping the sand. At least 5 workers carried sand bags one by one or two at a time up the stairs, after about 30 minutes of getting the fifty sand bags up the steps the water had been drained out completey. The workers then unhooked the drain hose from the water truck, letting the truck leave out the warehouse and walkign away with the hose to put it up. As soon as the hose left the workers who brought the sand bags up stated to dump them in the empty pool. At least 3 of them were down in the pool getting sands bags, cuttting them open, and dumping the sand around. While the other two were just tossing the sand bags in. As the men did that she walekd back to the edge of the platform once more, motioning for the pump to start being set up so that the seawater could be pumped into the pool. Immeadiately two workers started to work on that. Oliver then turned her attention back to the sand workers, she occasionally shot glances at Sage making sure he was okay which he seemed to be fine. After 45 minutes of the sand being dumped and spread the workers finished, getting out of the pool. "Okay, start the pump!" She shouted to the men down below, who gave a thumbs up and began to pump the seawater into the pool. Admittedly it was a bit slow as the water had to go up quite a bit to get into the pool so this whole process would take about another hour.

Sage watched everything with an admittedly curious expression. It was interesting, he could admit, to watch them all bustle around. Tails just seemed to be better. But whatever, it was sort of funny watching them waddle around, carrying sand and everything else. Oliver seemed to know what she was doing....and they seemed like they listened pretty well. Maybe because they were afraid of what her father would do or say if they didn't. Or what she'd do or say. Whatever, as long as they were doing his tank he supposed it didn't matter all that much. Soon enough, though, the water was about halfway up the edge of the pool, and he was sort of starting to breathe a bit heavier as the air wasn't exactly his main source of oxygen. It was pushing his limits being out this long. He sort of threw a glance in Oliver's direction, silently asking her when he could go back into the water. Or how much longer this might take. Because he was starting to get a bit nervous.....he really didn't want to suffocate again. He wasn't even sure he could survive that. And he wanted to at least get back into ocean water at the very least before he died. No doubt living in a pool would shorten his life span anyway, but he did want the sand and ocean water. It would make it much nicer.

Oliver told the men to start cleaning up as filling the pool was the last step. Which immeadiately the men began to clean up the bags, along with sweep up the sand that had gotten scattered on the pool deck. Oliver observed them continuing to occasionally glance at the siren. After the men finished up she looked at the pool which was now about half way filled up. She then turned to look at the siren who was already looking at her, his expression filled with worry and a slight bit of panic. Instantly she realized what was happening, she took one more glance at the pool feeling that it was high enough for him to go back in. "Get him back in the pool" She instructed two workers firmly, they did as told and lifting sage up then bringing him into the pools edge "You better put him down carefully" She hissed as a warning already sensing that the two would just sort of fling him in. The two workers nodded their head, gently setting him down into the water before unwrapping the net from around him letting him get out.

Sage was rather relieved when Oliver instructed the workers to get him back into the pool. He wasn't exceptionally happy about being carried like some kind of big baby, but they were putting him back in the pool, after all. That had just been changed into a whole new environment for him. Not that they'd really had any say I'm the matter....but that's what they were paid to do, so they had to deal with it and shouldn't complain too much. When they settled him back in the water and u wrapped him from the net, he sort of just unfurled his tail and fins and swam around a little bit, taking a few deep breaths before moving to where he was as out of the way as possible. His complexion had already improved with just being on salt water, and his scales didn't seem so dull. The small bit of gold in them seemed to shine out more too, as did his eyes. That was just how it worked, he supposed. The longer he was in the salt water too, the more the faint markings on his skin showed up. They had been too faint to see in fresh hose water, but now they were beginning to appear....loops and swirls, as well as more jagged lines and such. They sort of looked like tattoos, but they were just body markings, sort of enhancing features and all.

Oliver watched and was pleased that the men had set him down gently. She kept on eye on the siren as he moved out of the net, a bit quicker than usual now that she thought about it. Quickly though she went back to the workers making sure everything had gotten done and would be good. After that she came back to the platform of the pool watchign it as it filled up, which by then it only had a couple feet left to go. That's when she heard a voice behind her "Oliver, what's going on here?" A familiar voiced boomed, she turned to come face to face with her father. "Uh well, I was switching the pool water with sea water." She explained with a small smile, hoping for a proud comment but all her father did was look upset. "And why would you do that?" He asked a bit grumpy "Well, I am your information specialist so why do you think I did that" She quickly snapped back at him. Trevor only nodded his head before finally saying "Ok then" He then marched off into another section of the warhose. After that little fiasco, she looked back at the pool which was full. She motioned for the pump to be shut off and put away. The wrokes listened and within the next 10 mintues the pump had dis appeared.
